頂尖大學國際化的建立-研究與實務的整合

Internationalization in Top Universities-the Combination of Researcher and Practicers’ Perspectives

摘要


關於大學國際化的研究都是從研究者的觀點,而這些觀點與實務者觀點有別。因此本文乃針對頂尖大學進行國際化研究,整合研究者與實務者的觀點,進而提出整合性的觀點。整合結果發現頂尖大學國際化動機乃是基於學術卓越追求與國際聲望建立,因此,頂尖大學國際化的要素包含七大面向,亦即,學生面向、教職員面向、研究面向、課程面向、資源投入面向、管理面向以及文化面向。而由其動機、要素及國際化動態性的性質可知,頂尖大學國際化應採行整體取向。

Many Internationalization research are from researchers’ perspectives. It’s different from practicers’ perspectives. The article is aim to combine with the perspectives of researcher and practicer. The result is that the incentive for top universities to embrace internationalization is the pursuit of excellent academic and the building of international reputation. The components include Student, Faculty, Research, Curriculum, Engagement, Governance and Culture. The approach we should take is the holistic approach.
