吉祥圖案之台灣廟宇文創商品設計創作研究-以三重義天宮為例

Research on the Design and Creation of Taiwan Temple Cultural and Creative Commodities with Auspicious Patterns–Application at Yi-Tian Temple in Samgchung

摘要


本研究透過符號學解析廟宇吉祥圖案之寓意,將吉祥圖案運用於文創商品上,探討文化創意產品的本質及內涵,將其歸納及整合,了解吉祥圖案與符號間的連結,以索緒爾、皮爾斯及羅蘭.巴特論點剖析,推論出吉祥圖案之語意,以轉化、變形的方式,重新定義出吉祥符號。本創作以三重義天宮吉祥圖案研究為題,透過吉祥圖案的轉譯與生活連結,研究過程包含:(1)透過文獻蒐集研究該廟宇的圖像意涵與故事;(2)專家訪談獲取經驗與建議,並實地至該廟深度了解其文化及背景;(3)網羅台灣廟宇文創商品案例,探究創作手法及風格;(4)依據前述分析研究之結論,從「生活」、「文化」、「美學」三個面向進行該廟宇文創商品創作方針。最後以「八仙」及「八寶」代表三重義天宮之廟宇文創商品,並加入義天宮之「貓廟」特色,將之分為8大主題:「長壽大吉」、「鎮邪驅魔」、「業進斗金」、「多子多福」、「金玉滿堂」、「百年好和」、「慧質蘭新」及「清平世界」,以「筊杯」、「平安符」、「平安皂」及「包平安(袋)」為作品呈現,並透過線上展示,蒐集及整理消費者意見,提出開發文創商品建議結論共四項:(1)可延續開發不同吉祥屬性之文創商品;(2)商品結合在地特色;(3)市調排除同質性之商品;(4)生活日用結合紀念性值可為文創商品之趨勢。以上建議希冀本研究能貢獻於後續研究者之開發。

The research analyzes the meaning of temple auspicious patterns through semiotics, and apply these auspicious patterns to cultural and creative products. By doing so, we explore the essence and connotation of cultural creative products, summarizing the connection between auspicious patterns and symbols. By studying the theory of Ferdinand de Saussure, Charles Sanders Peirce, and Roland Barthes, duce the meaning of auspicious patterns, and redefines the auspicious symbols through transformation. These creations are based on the study of the auspicious patterns of Sangchong Yt-ian Temple. Through the collections of auspicious images and the connection of life, the research process includes: (1) Gathering literature collections to analysis the meaning and stories of the temple; (2) Gaining experience through experts’ interviews and field survey to learn more about its culture and background; (3) Searching collections of Taiwan temples’ cultural products to explore creative techniques and styles; (4) Summarizing the conclusion of the work above, the creation concept is carried out from the three aspects of "life", "culture" and "aesthetics". Finally, it is analyzed that the themes of cultural and creative products which represents Yt-ian Temple are "the eight immortals" and "the eight dharma", and also added with the feature of Yitian Temple‘s cat, divide the work into 8 major themes. And through our online exhibition, we collected and organized consumers’ opinions, and put forward four suggestions for the development of cultural and creative products: (1) The products with different auspicious attributes can be variously developed ; (2) The products should be combined with local characteristics; (3) Market investigation should exclude same commodity results ; (4) Commemorative meanings combined with daily necessities could be the trend of cultural and creative commodities. Truly expect that this research would continuously contribute to the developers.
