性別英閱繪—性別議題融入國中英語教學之多元文化課程研究

摘要


本研究旨在建構性別議題融入國中英語教學的課程方案,透過探討課程方案的實施歷程,從中分析學生性別平等觀念的轉變。為達上述目的,本研究以國中八年級一個班級的學生為研究對象,採用行動研究取向的課程設計,進行課程方案實踐。從課程教學檢視、學生學習成效及教師專業成長三個層面,探究性別議題融入英語教學的課程之建構與實施。 本課程方案實施成效分析以質性資料為主,包含課堂觀察紀錄、課程學習單、學生回饋表、教師教學省思札記,並針對學生回饋表中的閉鎖性題目進行基礎量化分析。根據資料統整與分析,研究結果如下: 一、性別繪本融入英語課程助益學生性別平等意識的正向發展。 二、性別繪本搭配多元教學策略和評量方式增進學習動機與成效。 三、性別繪本融入國中英語的多元文化課程營造尊重友愛校園環境。 四、行動研究的實踐增進英語教師性別平等意識的敏覺度及課程設計能力。

The study aims to construct a multicultural curriculum program for integrating gender issues into English teaching in Junior high school, and to analyze the changes in students' attitudes towards gender equality by discussing the implementation process of the curriculum program. In order to achieve the above purposes, this study takes a class of eighth graders as the study objects and adopts an action research-oriented curriculum design to implement the curriculum program. The construction and implementation of the curriculum on issues of gender equality are explored from the three aspects: review of curriculum teaching, students’ learning effect and teachers' professional growth. The research analysis was mainly based on qualitative data, including classroom observation records, course worksheets, student feedback sheets, and teacher’s teaching reflective journals. Furthermore, the author conducted the quantitative analysis on the closed questions of students’ feedback sheets. According to the data integration and analysis, the research results are as following: 1. Gender picture books infused into English courses help students develop positive awareness of gender equality. 2. Gender picture books combined with multiple teaching strategies and assessment methods enhance learning motivation and effectiveness. 3. Gender picture books infused into the multicultural curriculum of junior high English create a respectful and friendly campus environment. 4. The practice of action research enhances the sensitivity of English teachers' gender equality awareness and the ability of curriculum design.
