摘要


「畫說・心語」,不難理解筆者是想要用畫來說故事,說自己如何走過憂鬱症的生命故事,為什麼說這樣的故事?因為在這世界上有太多人為憂鬱症所苦,被侵蝕的心靈無所適從,因此,筆者想以過來人的身份,透過繪畫創作以直觀的圖像,幫助憂鬱症患者在顛覆後的世界找到方向;並讓面對憂鬱症患者的親友,可以從理解到協助他們恢復正常的生活。 本創作研究以因應憂鬱症的七個心靈處方做為繪畫的創作主題,共完成十二件作品,探討如何通過隱喻性繪畫,以傳達筆者的思想與情感;研究如何運用媒材的特色與技法,在滿足視覺美感的前提下,可以達到超越描繪對象本身的意涵,進而賦予繪畫創作以隱喻意義的目的。 本論文分為六個章節:第一章緒論,說明研究動機與目的、研究的內容與範圍及研究的方法與限制。第二章陳述筆者經歷憂鬱症的生命故事,並深入瞭解什麼是憂鬱症及憂鬱症的發展現況,進而分享筆者因應憂鬱症的心靈處方。第三章進行隱喻性繪畫的學理研究,並透過圖像的解讀,理解並驗證隱喻性繪畫的創作路徑。第四章說明創作思維及創作實踐的方法和流程。第五章說明整體創作的架構,並對作品逐一進行解析。第六章以回顧研究成果和對未來的展望與期許作為總結。

“Story behind Pictures, Language of the Heart”. It is simple to understand that the author wishes to use paintings to tell a story, and to infer how one could overcome depression. All too often, people are at a loss finding their minds consumed by depression. The author, expressing self-experience, wants to use intuitive images in paintings to help patients find direction in a world turned up-side-down by depression; and let their relatives and friends participate, through understanding, in helping such patients return to a normal life. This creative research, which include twelve works, employs the seven elixirs of the heart as the theme of painting creation, discusses how to convey the author's thoughts and emotions through Metaphorical Painting, and to deploy characteristics and techniques of this painting medium, achieve the realization of visual beauty and go beyond the meaning of the object itself, and endow the painting creation with the purpose of metaphorical meaning. This thesis has six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, which explains the motivation and purpose of the research, the content and scope, and the methods and limitations of the work. The second chapter describes the author's story of her own depression, discusses current medical understanding of the condition and its developments, and then shares her seven elixirs of the heart for recovery. The third chapter reports the theoretical research on metaphorical painting, and through interpretation of images, understands and verifies the creative path of the technique. The fourth chapter explains the creative thinking behind, and the methods and processes of the creative practice. The fifth chapter explains the structure of the overall creation, and analyzes each of the works. As a conclusion, the sixth chapter is a review of the research results, recommendations and expectations for future work.
