臺灣、越南、蒙古不同地區口腔保健之研究

摘　　要近年來國際衛生組織重視口腔保健之推展，因為根據研究指出，特定地區民眾倘若能落實口腔保健，民眾健康指數也會相對提高，所以口腔保健已被視為現代化的健康指標之一。中亞蒙古屬於游牧社會，寓於生活環境制約，逐水草而居，加上經濟落後，導致口腔疾病嚴重。水稻聞名的越南為農業社會，遭受戰爭洗禮，發展落後，經濟又遭逢制栽，人民生活貧困，口腔疾病嚴重。福爾摩沙的工業臺灣醫療科技發達，民眾對口腔保健有一定程度認知，重視潔牙。除特殊吃檳榔習慣民眾之外，民眾的口腔健康情形，卻未見改善。本文旨在運用SWTO等分析三個國家情勢及口腔保健現況，發現國家經濟提升，生活形態改變後，口腔疾病嚴重度卻日趨嚴重；口腔醫療提升可獲得控制，健康數也大為提高。然建立良好口腔健康和衛生，應以口腔保健預防為導向，一方面減少國家醫療資源耗用，同時更可提升國家整體競爭力。
