原住民學生於技職體系就學困境之研究-以北部某醫護管理專科學校護理科原住民學生為例

摘要


本研究以北部某醫護管理專科學校護理科原住民學生為研究對象,透過半結構深度訪談的研究方式探討原住民學生就學困境,並藉由文獻探討,研究技職校院原住民學生之就學困境,並依相關理論探尋出深究原因,並於訪談期間針對「地域環境」、「課業學習」、「家庭因素」、「文化認同」及「就學補助」等方向以質性研究方式向學生訪談目前「就學困境」問題,研究發現,該校地域環境對於原住民學生就學並無太大影響;而原住民家庭經濟將影響學生學校課業學習、父母親社經地位對於原住民學生課業表現亦有相關影響;而文化認同方面,原漢文化優越依然存在,歧視之言行依然會產生。就學補助方面,當局應考量降低補助標準、嘉惠更多經濟弱勢原住民學生順利就學。

This study explores the studying difficulties of indigenous students in the nursing department of a medical management school in the north Taiwan by conducting Semi-structured in-depth interviews method. From the collected literatures, the students were interviewed on the issue of "study dilemma" in five ways, such as "local environment", "study learning", "family factor", "cultural identity" and "education subsidy". The study found that the school's geographical environment does not have much impact on the indigenous students' school attendance; and the indigenous family economy will affect the student's learning outcome, and the parental socioeconomic status will also have an impact on the performance of the indigenous students' academic performance; the superiority of “Han” culture still exists, so there is still cultural discrimination. In terms of tuition subsidies, the authorities should consider lowering the subsidy standards and benefiting more economically disadvantaged indigenous students to attend school.
