桃園市國民中學教師教學效能與工 作滿意度關係之探討

The Study on the Relationship between Teacher Efficacy and Teacher Job Satisfaction of Junior High School Teacher in Taoyuan City

摘要


本研究旨在探討桃園市國民中學教師教學效能與工作滿意度之現況,及不同背景變 項教師對教學效能與工作滿意度之差異,並分析兩者之關係。 本研究選取桃園市國民中學共165 位正式教師為研究樣本,所使用之研究工具包括 「國民中學教師教學效能問卷」及「國民中學教師工作滿意度問卷」。資料分析方法包 括描述性統計分析、獨立樣本t 檢定、單因子變異數分析、Pearson 相關分析、多元迴歸 分析。研究發現如下: 壹、 目前桃園市國民中學教師知覺自身教學效能情形「中上」。 貳、 目前桃園市國民中學教師知覺工作滿意度現況「中上」。 參、 不同性別、任教科目、學校規模的桃園市國民中學教師在知覺自身教學效能上, 具有顯著差異。 肆、 不同任教科目、學校規模的桃園市國民中學教師在知覺工作滿意度上,具有顯著 差異。 伍、 桃園市國民中學教師教學效能在解釋教師工作滿意度上,兩者之間具有相關性。 研究者根據研究結果,對教育相關單位提出建議,並針對研究工具及研究方向提出 建議,提供未來研究者做為參考。

The purpose of the present study is three-fold. First, it explores the current status of teacher efficacy and job satisfaction. Second, it investigates whether different teacher background variables would influence teacher efficacy and job satisfaction. Third, it further analyzes the relationship between teacher efficacy and job satisfaction. Random sampling approach was adopted to recruit 165 formal junior high school teachers in Taoyuan City to complete the questionnaires composed of teacher efficacy inventory and job satisfaction inventory. Data were analyzed in terms of descriptive statistics, independent-sample T test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. The major findings are summarized as followed: (1) Junior high school teachers in Taoyuan City perceived that the current status of teacher efficacy is medium to high. (2) Junior high school teachers in Taoyuan City perceived that the current status of job satisfaction is medium to high. (3) Gender, subject taught and school size demonstrated significant difference in teacher efficacy. (4) Subject taught and school size indicated significant difference in job satisfaction. (5) Correlation was found between teacher efficacy and job satisfaction. In light of the study, some suggestions were offered to administrative authority for education and future research with respect to instruments and methodology.
