台灣汽車輪胎產業競爭策略之研究-以T公司為例

摘要


本研究以T輪胎公司為研究對象,採用質性研究法中的深度訪談法及相關次級資料整理,來了解T公司所處的產業環境背景,擁有的核心資源能力及與其競爭策略之間的交互關係。並透過基礎資源觀點來探討T公司在過去六十年的發展歷程中,如何在不同時期獲取、運用所擁有的資源與能力,以及如何以動態競爭程序來協調並整合其企業資源來因應不斷變化的外部環境,以取得持續性的競爭優勢。最後歸納出T公司內部具備厚實的研發能力、顧客導向的行銷業務能力、高度效率化的生產流程能力、以及穩健的財務資源與良好的人力資源規劃。進而以T公司之案例整理出相關建議供台灣輪胎產業未來擬定經營發展策略之參考。

This case study on Company T is to discuss how the company’s key resources, capabilities and competitive strategies are developed under changing industry environment. As an in-depth interview, a qualitative research technique was conducted by interviewing the management level in the organization. In this study, the resource-based view theory is employed to explore how Company T acquired and managed various resources and capabilities during different periods for the past 60 years. And how the company coordinated and integrated the corporation resources to respond to external environment with competitive dynamics procedures in order to obtain sustainable competitive advantages. At the end, the conclusion was made that Company T has solid R&D, customer-oriented marketing and highly efficient production management capabilities along with stable and healthy financial resource and human resource. Hopefully this can be a helpful case study for Taiwanese tire industry to set up future business strategies in the years to come.
