This study aims to investigate the relationship between idolatry, self-concept, academic achievement and well-being of the junior high school students. A survey questionnaire method was adopted with random sample from junior high school students in Taoyuan City. The numbers of sending and receiving questionnaires are 310 and 303, respectively. After excluding 7 invalid questionnaires, the effective response rate are 97.7%. The findings are as follow: 1.The junior high school students with different genders display significant differences on idolatry. 2. Regression analysis indicates there is positive correlation between idolatryand well-beings of junior high school students. 3. There is positive correlation between self-concept and well-being of junior high school students. 4. There is positive correlation between academic achievements and well-being of junior high school students.It is worthy for education authorities and educational institutions to take consideration to construct an effective teaching methods enhancing students’ well-being.
