交錯軸螺旋齒輪對(Crossed-axes helical gear pair)由一對螺旋齒輪所構成,為一種交錯軸動力傳遞機構,一般常見於減速比不高之交錯軸動力傳遞場合。然而由於交錯軸螺旋齒輪其齒面接觸面積較小,導致其接觸應力較高,因此限制了此一齒輪對之負載能力,使得其可應用的範圍受到很大的限制。本研究利用螺旋刨齒刀在90度交錯軸設定角下刨製凹面螺旋齒輪,此一凹面螺旋齒輪與理論螺旋齒輪所組成之新型交錯軸螺旋齒輪對可有效地改善理論交錯軸螺旋齒輪對接觸齒印過小之缺點。本研究首先以Visual Basic程式語言搭配SolidWorks API 函式庫於CAD環境中建立齒輪模擬切削系統,藉以模擬凹面螺旋齒輪之切削加工並獲得其三維模型。其次並利用此一三維模型進行新型交錯軸螺旋齒輪對之接觸齒印模擬以及有限元素應力分析(Finite Element Stress Analysis)。研究結果可驗證此一新型交錯軸螺旋齒輪對可有效地強化交錯軸螺旋齒輪對之負載能力。
Crossed-axes helical gear pair is a kind of mechanism which provides crossed-axes power transmission with low gear ratio. However, the bearing contact between the conventional crossed-axes helical gear pair is limited. Therefore, the contact stress is relatively high, and the load capacity is limited. In this study, the concave helical gear is generated by helical shaper cutter with 90-degree crossing angle. A novel crossed-axes helical gear pair composed of a concave helical and a general helical gear can solve the problems associated with low-load capacity by enlarging the contact pattern. Firstly, simulation system of gear cutting is developed by visual basic and SolidWorks API in CAD environment and three-dimensional model of concave helical gear can be obtained. Then, contact pattern simulation and finite element stress analysis of this novel crossed-axes helical gear pair are performed. The results of this study indicate that the load capacity can be improved effectively by this novel crossed-axes helical gear pair.
