摘要

本論文是以嵌入式系統為基礎架設一個網路監視伺服器；在作業系統中架設Web Server並將監視器的影像呈現在網頁瀏覽器上，提供使用者只需經由網頁瀏覽器即可觀看監視攝影機的影像，達到遠端監視的效果。主要貢獻為以Creator XScale-PXA270嵌入式平台為基礎，結合網際網路與周邊裝置，利用撰寫系統軟體，成功在系統平台上實現遠端監視系統；且利用嵌入式系統的客製化、移植性高、體積小、消耗功率低與穩定性強等特點取代原有的桌上型電腦，成為單機系統(Stand alone)。本系統其效能適合應用於監視快速公路之車流影像。
本論文的系統架構是以Intel PXA270系統晶片為硬體處理單元，軟體架構則採用具有TCP/IP、HTTP、Ghttpd、CGI等功能的Embedded Linux為作業系統核心，實現整體系統的應用功能。

The paper presents a Web Server monitor based on the embedded system which sets up a Web Server and provides the images of Web Server monitoring on the internet browser. To achieve the remote monitoring, users can only use browser to watch the video of the monitoring cameras. The main contribution of this paper is that we design the system software to implement an internet remote Monitoring system on the Creator XScale-PXA270 embedded system platform. Also, we use many benefits of embedded system such as customization, small size, low power consumption and high stability to replace the personal computer and make this system become a stand-alone system.
The system structure is based on the Intel PXA270 system chip and the software structure is based on the embedded Linux kernel which includes many functionalities such as TCP/IP, HTTP, Ghttpd and CGI.
