論文提要內容：
本文希望藉由探討彰化縣新移民女性的生活適應，特別是分析中國籍及東南亞籍的適應情形。
以作者的調查資料為基礎，本文分為三大部份：一、了解彰化地區新移民女性之現狀。二、了解彰化地區新移民女性在不同背景下的「生活適應」等方面之現況。三、探究影響彰化地區新移民女性生活適應的因素。
藉由問卷調查與統計分析，本研究發現無論是彰化縣中國籍女性或東南亞籍女性，其整體的生活滿意度的部分都是偏向好的反應。我們發現親職意志、生活改變以及社會支持的感受受到新移民女性比較多個人背景變項的影響，而有關生活適應的反應上，則是受到家庭型態、語言表達、親子互動、小孩照護等因素會產生影響。

Abstract:
This project attempts to explore living adaptation of new female immigrants in Changhua County, Taiwan. Particularly, this paper tries to analyze new female immigrants from China and Southeast Asian countries.
Based on a survey data conducted by the author, this research can be divided into three parts. Firstly, this paper tries to understand current situations of new female immigrants in Changhua area. Secondly, it attempts to understand their current living adaptation from their different personal backgrounds. Thirdly, this project aims to explore factors influencing their living adaptation.
Through a survey and statistical analysis, the study finds that new female immigrants from China or Southeast Asian countries feel good about their living satisfaction in Changhua County. Our results show that personal background variables of new female immigrants affect their parenting ideas, living change and feelings of social support. In addition, their living adaptations are influenced by family type, fluent language, parent-child interaction, and child care.
