錯視圖形構成視覺動態之研究

A Study on Constitutions of Visual Illusions in Visual Movements

摘要


過去,人們從未探討過藝術和頭腦間的關聯性,直到近代才被藝術家與心理學者陸續的開發出來。在視覺上最常出現的顏色、形體、線條和動作,都會在大腦的各區域中產生反應,並再經由藝術的經驗傳達出個人感受。而所謂的錯視動態圖形就是利用視覺與知覺產生的偏崎現象所創作出的,它會因為個人觀看後的感受不同而對圖形產生不一樣的反應,故具有趣味性與心理性的特點。本研究的目的即是在藉由平面構成的觀點對錯視動態圖形進行研究,期將研究的結果提供給設計師作為參考,使其創作出更多新奇的視覺作品。 本研究採用實驗法,以電腦螢幕為受測工具,探討分割點中心位移、色彩與動態間的關聯性,研究分為三步驟進行,一為前測實驗,二為正式實驗,三為後測實驗。前測實驗是進行日本學者北岡明佳的135幅錯視動態作品之造形與色彩的分析,並將分析結果作為正式實驗樣本之參考;正式實驗分成三個實驗進行探討,實驗一在探討分割點中心的位移對於錯視圖形在視覺動態上的影響,實驗二在探討圖形配置對於錯視圖形在視覺動態上的影響,實驗三在探討色彩配置對於錯視圖形在視覺動態上的影響;而後測實驗則是將正式實驗之實驗結果進行再實驗,以印證正式實驗之結果。研究結果顯示,正式實驗的基本形環繞設計與放射分割設計二種形式在分割點中心位移後,受測者的動態感受力都有提高,另外在分割點中心位移後的圖形配置方面,受測者對四次、階層、環繞等配置的動態感受力也皆呈現提高之現象,其中又以環繞配置最為明顯。在圖形配置後的色彩配置上以黑白色的動態感受為最高,在分割點位移後的色彩配置中,則是以紅藍與藍綠的配色之動態感受為最高。本研究的結果與Ouchi (1977)、Kitakoa(2003)研究結果相同,證實邊緣分割與逐漸變亮確實會造成視覺運動的感受,並且研究結果發現分割比例也是形成動態圖形的重要因素,故不同分割的比例會造成不同的動感。

In the past, people had never talked about the relationship between the art and the brain. This relation is not explored by artists and psychologists until recently. Colors, shapes, lines and actions can be reflected by different zones of the brain, and personal feelings can then be expressed by artistic experiences. So-called illusion movement images are invented utilizing the illusion of vision and consciousness. Different response and feelings may be generated individually, thus, it’s mental and interesting. The purpose of this research is to dig into the visual movement illusion from the plane constitution. The result is expected to be referenced by designers for more fancy visual works. This research tries to discuss the relationship among shape, color and movement on computer screens by experiments. The research contains three steps: 1. Pre-experiment; 2. Formal experiment; 3. Post-experiment. In the pre-experiment stage, we analyze the colors and shapes of 135 visual illusions by Kitaoka, a Japanese scholar. The result is referenced in the formal experiment. Formal experiment includes three sub-experiments: Experiment 1 is to discuss the effect of the displacement of disjunctive center on visual illusions’ movement; Experiment 2 is to discuss the effect of image layout on visual illusions’ movement; Experiment 3 is to discuss the effect of color configuration on visual illusions’ movement. Post-experiment stage is a repeat of formal experiment to confirm the results. The research shows that during formal experiment, after the displacement of disjunctive center, testee’s receptivity of movement increases for the design of basic shapes surrounding and radicalization partition. Besides, for the image layout after the displacement of disjunctive center, testee’s receptivity of the forth power, layer and surrounding increases. The surrounding is the most remarkable one among them. For color configuration after the image layout, movement feeling of black and white is the most remarkable. For the color configuration after the displacement of disjunctive center, combinations of red-blue and blue-green have the most active sense of movement. This research has a same result with Ouchi (1977)、Kitakoa(2003). It confirms that the edge separation and gradually lightening can generate a sense of visual movement. We also find out that proportion of separation is another key of movement. Different senses of movement can be achieved by different proportion of separation.
