從在地文化探討創意產品之應用研究—以紙模型創作為例

摘要


近年來產品設計的趨勢轉向展現在地文化特質,突顯當地文化特色,使產品更具吸引力與市場競爭力。本研究在文化創意產業的宗旨下,藉由在地文化特質了解台灣在本土文化上的基本背景與其獨特性,並透過文獻對在地文化的了解,對新化老街之文化歷史背景與建築物的裝飾意涵,從圖像中尋找與歸納出在地文化的特徵,針對老街之建築樣式相關文獻的整理,藉以尋找新化老街建築樣式方面較具象徵性之文化特色。   本研究以新化老街的建築風貌為樣本,在文化與創意產業的結合下,透過時下日趨流行的立體紙模型創作作為表現的媒材,為述說文化與歷史增添另一種可能性。   本研究主要針對此整個創作過程、發表以及販售情形作一記錄,結果發現:(1)以台灣在地的老街文化為題材,可創作出具獨特性的創作紙模型作品;(2)以紙藝的藝術創作確實具有傳達文化之幼纂A差異只在於玩家深入程度的不同;(3)在創作中融入地方文化與特色,普遍能引起在地人民的興趣與認同;(4)以紙模型作品而言,可執行性與精緻度是玩家最重視的因素之一。   本創作利用體驗的概念,期望讓台灣日據時期之建築樣式,重現於立體紙模型上,在創作作品中將新化老街特有的建築風貌逐一呈現,刺激玩家進行製作與體驗時,提升玩家對本土文化之興趣與瞭解。

In recent years, the trend of product design has turned to display the characteristics of local culture and to make products more attractive and competitive. The study is aimed at cultural creative industry. Through the characteristics of local culture, the basic background and uniqueness of local culture in Taiwan can be understood. Besides, the researcher tries to conclude local culture from the documents in order to understand the cultural and historical background and the meanings of building decorations at Hsin Hua Old Street. Moreover, the researcher concludes the relative documents of old street buildings from the building images to find out some symbolical cultural characteristics of Hsin Hua Old Street.   After the combination of cultural and creative industries, the buildings of Hsin Hua Old Street are chosen as the samples in the study. The performing materials of 3D paper models that are very popular with people are used to show another possibility to interpret the culture and history.   The researcher makes a record about the process, publication, and sale of the relative products. The study results are as follows. (1) The unique paper models can be created using local culture of old streets in Taiwan. (2) The artistic paper creations are indeed effective in conveying culture, and the difference is just because the players have different degrees of enthusiasm. (3) The creations with local culture and characteristics can be commonly popular with local residents. (4) The enforceability and refineness of paper models are the most important two elements for players.   The concept of experiences is used in the study through the representation of buildings in Japanese colonial period as 3D paper models. In creative works, the building styles of Hsin Hua Old Street are gradually represented to motivate the players to create and experience and to raise the interest and understanding of local culture for the players.
