本論文為研製當人在一個很大的圖像資料庫裡瀏覽影像和靜態改變圖像的ROI(感興趣之範圍)時呈現的效果的關切程度都莫過於ROI改變的精確度。但許多的技術都在於討論JPEG2000靜態ROI與動態ROI的編碼架構,並沒有討論到在瀏覽影像資料庫呈現時速度的編碼處理。 在本論文裡基於多序列的命令與混和靜態ROI與動態ROI編碼樣式,我們提出一個經過適當安排的編碼文件可以縮短硬碟從取時間和經編碼複雜度的不同來減少編碼的時間的方法,實驗結果表明,其性能更為提升。
When users have to browse images in a large image database and may dynamically change ROIs, the performance view become more important than quality view. Many techniques have been presented for both static and dynamic ROI (Region of Interest) coding for JPEG2000 standard. However, none of them discussed the performance view of the decoding process for browsing image database. In this paper, based on the multiple progression orders and a mixed static and dynamic ROI coding style, we propose a method to shorten the hard-disc access time via an appropriate arrangement of the coded file, and shorten the decoding time via an incremental reformation of a file. Experimental results show that the performance is much better than the one with a single progression order.
