摘要


臺灣傳統教育講求知識的學習,都以填鴨式教育來進行,使得學生的學習與思考受到限制,無法充分發揮其潛能,尤其在英文教學上都以進行背誦為主,重視文法和單字知識,忽視口語和聽力的訓練,在實際生活中不能隨心所欲的運用。語言學習是文化與生活的學習,是與外界交往、互動的實踐過程,透過語言溝通過程,從中學習到更多知識,於是語言學習的過程是強調實踐性。在資訊科技進步的時代,許多手持的數位智慧裝置已經融入日常生活中,而且更加人性化、資訊化,許多手持裝置都可以利用3G、3.5G甚至WiFi等無線上網,利用這些技術可以讓使用者可以在任何時間、地區、空間進行情境式的語言學習。因此本研究運用QRcode的提示,運用Google Map及GPS定位,發展一個以智慧型手持裝置為基礎之情境學習系統,透過即時定位判斷校園位置及時間後,參考課表下載相關教材於手持裝置中,依教材內容與定位據點人員進行情境式語言溝通,可有效輔助語言的基礎訓練。

In Taiwan, traditional lessons were constantly spoon-fed throughout the semester; consequently students can not develop their own potential to rise to the challenges. Especially in English teaching course, teacher frequently put emphasis on the importance of grammar or wording, may neglect the training of both oral and listening comprehension. As a result, students are not capable of conversation intricate in English. In the Era of Information Technology (IT), many handsets provide the access capability to wireless networks such that generate a rich scenario for informal language learning anytime, anywhere. In the presented study, an intelligent scenario-based learning system had been developed by aggregating GPS system, Google map and QRcode. It can effectively download the right teaching materials via handsets based on the student’s position in campus and the exact time that created a rich scenario to facilitate language learning. Finally, three developed teaching materials are used for illustrating the innovation processes. Experiment results show that our system effectively assisted students with communication skills
