熱膨脹對模具尺寸精度影響之研究

摘要


模具被稱為工業產品之母,因其具有快速、重複性高及大量生產價格便宜等優點,所有工業產品莫不依賴模具才得以大量生產。模具工業立為所有工業的基礎,由於模具精確與否對所生產零組件之品質具相當影響。因此,模具技術可看出一個國家工業化程度及機械工業技術水準之高低。 在模具沖壓及引伸加工過程中,模具之接觸界面會產生熱,因為模具熱膨脹而造成尺寸變形及加工不良等,一直是工程師所難以解決的問題。為了減少熱效應對模具之影響,適當的冷卻設計及預留隙裕度是最常用的方法。然而,由於模具接觸面之溫度分佈、受熱時間、材質及模具本身之形狀與尺寸都會影響到熱膨脹程度,因此,建立綜合上述參數對於熱膨脹影響之資料庫 (database),是當前業界所急需的。 因此,本計畫的主要目標,是研究接觸面溫度對模具熱膨脹之影響研究,並建立模具設計所需之綜合資料庫,以期達到提高沖壓及引伸加工品質之目的。

Over the past decades, the faster and repeated manufacturing process by the die parts has been a very popular subject for the engineers. The technology of the dies is quite important for the industry. Therefore, it is necessary for the engineers to study the effects of thermal expansion on the accuracy of die size. The heat is always occurred between the interfaces of the die parts during the pressing and the extrusion process. Moreover, the deformation and the bad quality of machining surfaces caused by the thermal expansion of the die parts has been a very big trouble for the engineers over the past decades. In order to decrease the heat effects on the die parts, the proper design for the cooling system and the clearance is used popular. However, many parameters can significantly influence the thermal expansion such as: the temperature distributions of the die parts, the heating time, the materials, and the roughness of die surfaces, the size and shape of the die parts. Therefore, it is very necessary for the industry to establish an integrated database for the effects of thermal expansion on the die. Moreover, the above related technology also had showed a great potentiality and attraction for the cooperative enterprise. It is believed that the related technology can be used to improve the design energy and the high quality imagism for the industry. Therefore, this paper is to investigate the effects of thermal expansion on the die parts and to establish an integrated database. The purpose of better quality and faster product speed of the pressing and the extrusion process can then be obtained.
