本研究旨在建置以「試題反應理論」(IRT,Item Response Theory)與「遊戲式學習」(Game based Learning)為基礎之適性化筆順測驗系統(Adaptive Test System for Stroke Order),基於試題反應理論的單參數模型,利用學生測驗之作答反應以「最大概似估計法」估算學生能力,並據以調整出題策略,再經由系統逐步求得學生之最大能力值。系統為能結合「遊戲式學習」之概念,有效提升學生的學習興趣,因此運用Adobe Flash CS3軟體建置前端使用者介面以遊戲闖關之模式進行學習。此外,若學生測驗成績不佳,本系統亦提供適合學生能力之補救教學教材,進一步提升學生的國字筆順能力,讓系統同時兼備測驗與教學之功能。 本研究以雲林縣一所國小一年級學生,共二十七人為實驗對象,進行遊戲闖關測驗,測驗期間同步錄製學生闖關過程以進行人工比對,結果發現本系統能有效檢核學生國字筆順之正確性;實驗過程並蒐集學生前後測能力進行成對T檢定,確認本系統能有效提升學生「國字筆順」能力。此外,經分析對本研究所進行之問卷調查顯示,「遊戲式學習」(Game based Learning)的闖關模式,確實能有效提升學生之學習興趣。
The goal of this study is to construct an Adaptive Test System for Stroke Order by applying the Item Response Theory (IRT), internet technology, FLASH software and database management software. The Adaptive Test System for Stroke Order, which is based on IRT, can not only evaluate students’ accuracy of stroke order but also enables teachers to apply different teaching techniques according to their performance in the test. The Adaptive Test System utilizes(1-parameter logistic model) from the IRT to evaluate students’ ability in learning stroke order of Chinese characters and comes up with questions of different difficulty levels to students according to their performance in the test. By doing so, teachers can save test time without sacrificing the accuracy of the test. The Adaptive Test System also provides suggestions of remedial education for students according to their test scores. In addition, to improve students’ motivation of learning, the Adaptive Test System incorporates the concept of game-based learning by creating a computer game that allows students to enhance their ability in the stroke order gradually through stages of different difficulty levels. The sample of the study is 27 first-grade students in an elementary school in Yun-lin County. The study suggests that the Adaptive Test System can enhance students’ ability in stroke order of Chinese characters. Besides, the game-based learning mode in the system is found to successfully improve students’ motivation of learning.
