近年來國人越來越流行自行車運動,自行車交通安全越來越受到人們的重視。政府開始制定自行車交通法規,研議將自行車鈴之裝配納入法規之內,若法案通過,將可為自行車鈴產業注入龐大的商機。 市場需求不斷改變,產品生命週期大幅縮短,唯有加速新產品開發流程速度才能有效提昇企業競爭力。本研究之重心乃針對自行車鈴開發流程重新思考與定位,主要運用品質機能展開(Quality Function Deployment)整合顧客需求與設計者之開發能力,促使業者所開發之產品更能符合顧客之期望。以易製造設計(Design For Manufacture)增進設計團隊間之溝通,縮短新產品開發流程時間。藉由失效模式效應分析(Failure Mode and Effects Analysis),提早發覺產品之潛在缺陷,及早進行預防,降低產品故障所可能造成之損失。由實際案例說明經由以上三種方法論之應用來進行一系列之產品開發與設計,確實增加自行車鈴產業新產品開發效率。
Nowadays, bicycle exercise is getting popular and riders put more emphasis on bicycle safety. Thus, the government may enact the bicycle safety regulations, and the requirement of warning bell on the bicycle is under consideration. If the regulation is adopted, it could stimulate the market of the bicycle bell industry. However, the demand of consumers is changed all the time and product life cycle is shortened. Therefore, one way to strengthen firm competitiveness is to accelerate new product development. This research focuses on the improvement in the process of the bicycle bell development. First, Quality Function Deployment (QFD) links the needs of the customer with the capabilities of facility. Next, Design for Manufacture (DFM) is used to enhance the communication between design and manufacturing groups. Then, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is used to find out the potential faults earlier, and to prevent or to reduce the loss of product breakdown. Finally, a practical case is used to verify the process of new product development.
