摘要


全世界LED廠商始終戮力於發光二極體的製程能力與發光效率的技術提升,應用面也從早期單純的指示燈延伸到景觀照明、顯示器背光源、照明光源與要求高信賴性的車用光源,然而在現今科技發展日新月異、一躍千里的產品應用上,並非一昧追求LED的效率提升即可廣泛的設計並應用於所有的成品上,最重要的是必須針對每項成品的特性與應用層面進行評估考量後,再依其特性選擇適當的LED進行設計,並在此設計中對LED的封裝結構、封裝膠材、封裝光型與散熱處理進行優化設計,以達到LED應用的最佳化。 本論文主要是針對汽車前方向燈的LED發光模組進行優化,對晶片結構、封裝矽膠材、封裝膠體光型、金屬散熱基板進行優化設計外,並在符合ECE R6的法規基礎上,設計出應用於汽車方向燈的LED最佳化發光模組。

LED manufacturers in the worldwide have greatly contributed to upgrading their technology of process capacity and luminous efficiency of light emitting diode ( LED ) all the time. The applications of LED have also varied with the development of technology, extending from simple indicators in the initial stage to landscape lighting, backlight of monitor, light engines and high-reliability light source in automotive vehicles. However, the pursuit of aiming for highest luminous efficiency does not ensure that LED can apply to all wide-ranged design and application nowadays, as the technology progresses continuously and diversities the applied products. To achieve the utmost applicable optimization, it’s important to have the assessment of characteristics requirement in applied products, to select the LED with appropriate performance for design, and to optimize the LED packaging structure, plastic packaging material, optical light pattern, and thermal treatment. The scope of this thesis is mainly researching optimized LED lighting module for the front turn signals in automotives, which includes optimized chip structure, packaging silicone gel and metal core thermal substrate. It is also aiming for the optimal LED lighting module design in automotive turn signals, in conformity with the regulations of ECE R6.
