臺灣國際觀光旅館經營效率與可持續性發展指標之研究

觀光產業的蓬勃與環境保育完善兩者間是否能共榮共存，「永續發展」已是許多國家與地區相當關注的課題。本研究藉由臺灣國際觀光旅館之經營效率評估，與可持續性指標對於經營效率之影響作為研究方向，研究採用交通部觀光局2018年全臺81間國際觀光旅館的各項營運資料，以資料包絡分析法(DEA)求得經營效率值，並以行政院環保署空氣品質監測數據作為環境變數，使用Tobit迴歸分析探討經營效率值與可持續性指標之關聯影響。研究結果顯示，空氣污染物質細懸浮微粒(PM2.5)與懸浮微粒(PM10)在空氣中的濃度對於臺灣國際觀光旅館的經營效率有顯著影響，說明空氣汙染對於觀光產業具有一定程度之影響。

The balance between tourism industry and environmental conservation is important. Sustainable development is being to hot topic in many countries, and we should not take it for granted. The thesis computes the operating efficiency of international tourist hotels ( ITHs ) in Taiwan, and analyzes how sustainability indicators affect the operating efficiency in second part. The study collects the operational data from 81 ITHs in Taiwan in 2018 from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau and uses a data envelompment analysis (DEA) approach to measure the operating efficiency. On the other hand, the data of sustainability indicators use the tobit cersored regression model to evaluate the operating efficiency score and sustainability indicators. The result turns out that the concentration of airborne fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and suspended particulates matter (PM10) in the air has a significant impact on the operating efficiency of ITHs in Taiwan. It indicates that air pollutants have a certain degree of impact on the tourism industry as well.
