鈣鈦礦量子點白光二極體封裝設計於顯示應用之研究

摘要


白光二極體在這幾年技術發展迅速,且應用也越來越普及,這幾年量子點電視、Mini LED、Mirco LED,甚至是感測應用,UV殺菌等,都是非常熱門的主題,而量子點螢光材料也是近幾年非常新興的議題,應用在高顯色的顯示器上,或是太陽能電池上,或是生物感測上都有不少人在研究,本篇論文即結合白光二極體與量子點螢光粉兩者的優勢,製作出高顯色且高效率的白光LED。 本研究主要分兩個部分,第一個部分,我們提出了一種固液混合的鈣鈦礦量子點白光LED,並與純固態或純液態的白光LED做比較,我們發現這種固液態混合的結構可有效的提升元件效能,其達成了51lm/W的效率以及NTSC 122%/Rec 2020 91%的水準;接著我們改良此元件,將原本的量子點紅粉換成KSF螢光粉並改善一些封裝設計,其元件效能提升至85lm/W,色彩表現度也維持在相同的水準。 在第二部分當中,我們利用一種新型的結構,鈣鈦礦量子紙去取代綠色的部分,紅色的部分維持使用KSF螢光粉,利用鈣鈦礦量子紙優異的特性,我們的元件效能達到了124lm/W,且NTSC達到了122%與Rec 2020達到了92%的水準,超過100lm/W的效率應用在背光元件上以可達到商用的水準,若後續能再改善信賴性或是將這些研究應用在Micro LED產品中,相信會對未來的LED產業或是顯示器產業非常有幫助。

The development of white light emitting diodes (WLEDs) are becoming faster in recent decades due to their wide application likes quantum dots display, mini-LED, micro-LED, sensing, and UV sterilization, etc. Meanwhile, Quantum dots (QDs) phosphor is applied in different emerging researches including high color gamut display, solar cell, and biosensing, etc. In this thesis, we combined the advantages of WLEDS and QDs and designed several types of WLEDs with high color purity and high light efficiency. The research of this thesis can be divided by two parts. In the first part, we proposed a new structure perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) WLEDs which we called hybrid type WLEDs. It combined the advantages of green PQDs in liquid and red PQDs in solid. We found the light efficiency can be improved by this kind of structure compared to pure liquid type and pure solid type. The light efficiency of hybrid type PQDs WLEDs is 51lm/W and its color performance is very good which shows NTSC 122% and Rec 2020 91%. Then, we finetuned this device by changing the solid red QDs to KSF phosphor. We got the improved light efficiency which is about 85lm/W without the change of color gamut. In the second part, we used a new material called perovskite quantum dots paper to replace the green phosphor part in our WLEDs device. With high performance of PQDs paper, the light efficiency and color gamut of WLEDs can reach 124lm/W and NTSC 122%/Rec 2020 92%, respectively. We believed that these studies would be very helpful in LED industry or display industry or micro LED products in the near future.
