流動的空間界線

面對建築空間時，多以使用機能作為空間的雛形及建築元素作為空間的區隔，這種明確的界線定義下限縮了使用者活動及事件發生的可能性。本論文企圖以人們的活動來定義空間界線，並找出促成人們連續活動且引發出空間性現象的因子（factor）。本文首先以三類因子「建築元素」、「感官」及「場所氛圍」來論證構成連續性活動及流動界線的方法，再以各種因子作為索引（index），重新檢視過去的四個作品在不同影響下所構成的空間。使用者活動及界線的流動讓空間不在是以機能或服務特定對象所界定，而是提供了參與其中的我們有各種可能性，鼓勵事件發生，跳脫我們對既有空間的印象，為空間設計帶來更多的可能性。

Function as the foundation of space and architectural elements as the partition of space creates a series of specific boundaries that restrict the possibility of potential activities and events of human beings. This thesis aims to take these events as the re-definition of the spatial boundary and determine the factors that contribute to the continuity of activities and that trigger spatial phenomenon. First is to use three kinds of factors "elements of architecture," "sense," and "atmosphere of space" to construct the methods of creating continuous events and fluctuating boundaries. Secondly, take these factors as "indexes" to re-examine the architectural spaces built within different contextual influences in the author's works. User's events and the fluctuation of boundary save spaces from limiting themselves within specific functions or users; they provide us as participants the probability of happening and encouraging things to take place. They bring more possibilities for spatial design.
