城市物件的索引 | 現代城市與空間的構成邏輯 ─ 以五個城市區域模型為例

摘要


城市的構成是由許多物件所組成,而物件的位置與建立有其象徵的意義,城市中的物件擁有自明性並且 某種程度影響區域的發展狀態,而時代的變遷與文化的改變也影響物件體質的狀態,但城市物件與人、環境 之間卻不一定產生連結,這樣的因素可能來自於尺度的不相對稱、或者時代變遷的過程,僅存軀殼的歷史象 徵意義,也有可能來自於元件機能對應事物過於單一化的傾向,並且回應的對象不是以人做為出發思考;而 城市物件的制定與規劃如果無法與人產生共鳴,將使的其區域的活動狀態開始造成萎靡。 「由上而下」的城市規劃或者建築思考的方式,將造成物件與區域的單質化,這時候的物件將開始成為獨特 或者象徵化的標的,而這樣的象徵化將剩下紀錄過去一段歷史與故事的物件,沒有更多的連結可能發生。 本論文中企圖探討建築時代性的意義,認為建築不應該僅存機能化、象徵化或者只是徒然述說過去歷史的見 證,而是應該能夠記錄感情與現今時代生活的痕跡與可能性,能夠與日常生活中發生的事物重新結合,「以 下而上」的方式去重新論述城市物件與人之間的可能性,此時物件與人的生活才能產生關聯,物件也才真正 存在於人的心理。 城市物件的構成,最主要思考以「人」作為個體,並且進而思考與人與城市物件交流可能情況,在接下來的 設計案子過程,將試圖從城市脈絡加進人的使用行為進入空間之中,將原本單一化的功能物件,重新與「人、 環境、社會與紋理」發生關係,使上述關鍵能夠對於物件產生需求與痕跡,才能夠達成最終相互依存的和諧 關係。

Urban can be seen as the constitution of various objects which deeply influenced by its location, situation, thus establish its symbolic meaning. The (so-called) objects are self-evident and at a certain level help to shape the development of a specific region. On the other hand, transition of a period and culture might influence the physical state of these objects as well. However, urban objects, human and environment are not always relevant which might be due to the asymmetry of scale, or the symbolic meaning of a history remained from the transition of time. Also, chances are the monotony resides whilst functional units respond to the events. If the establishment of urban objects cannot be resonant with human, the activities over a region will wither. Moreover, the top-down urban planning or the thoughts of architecture often result to monotonous objects and places, therefore these objects literally become landmarks of symbol or uniqueness. This procedure of symbolization will merely be a segment of recording history and events, whereas prevents the possibility of connection. This thesis attempts to explore the value of architecture during a time, meaning that architecture shall not be merely about functionality, symbolization, or any abrupt evidence of the past, but be able to contain the sensation and the footprint of daily life. Furthermore, the ability of adapting to current life, and the possibility of bottom-up strategy to reinterpret human and city are the factors which enable the relation between our life and objects. Thus, these objects can be truly rooted in ones minds. The constitution of urban objects mainly considered “human” as individuals, and take the interaction between human and urban objects into account. The design process of this project attempts to introduce human behavior and the pattern of a city to certain places, as well as replace the existed monotonous objects of functionality with human, environment, society and pattern. By the requirements and traces of these four mentioned factors, the eventual concordance can be achieved.
