摘要


眼寫系統是本實驗室已開發之系統,但是這套系統只能在電腦上使用,體積龐大的電腦在攜帶上極為不便,因此我們便將眼寫系統從電腦上移植至微處理器上,並且加上電話的控制,讓漸凍人在生活上可以更自主。   本研究的目的在於建構一套“眼寫電話控制系統”,本文中以眼電圖法 (Electro-OculoGraphy, EOG) 作為擷取眼動訊號的方法,量測眼睛移動時,周圍微弱的電位差,再利用微處理器做濾除雜訊與訊號處理,來判讀眼睛所移動的軌跡,並且辨識出使用者所要表達的符號。拿起電話,放下電話,撥號,以及講電話等所有動作,都可以用眼寫的方式來取代。系統內共建構了60個不同的符號,包括注音符號37個、五聲符號5個、阿拉伯數字0–9共10個符號、三個標點符號、五個控制符號。經過六位受測者的測試,整體辨識率可達到83.33%。眼寫電話控制系統有三個模式,☆1是說話模式,其辨識率是83.33%;☆2是接電話模式,其辨識率是66.66%;☆3是打電話模式,其辨識率是66.66%。

The eye-writing system is already developed in this laboratory. But the system can only use in computer. The computer is big and heavy. So we can’t carry it easily. We will transplant it to the microprocessor systematically from computer and add the control of telephone in order for ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) patients to act on their’s own even more in life. My research is to build eye-writing telephone control system. In this study, we measured the eye movements by electro-oculograophy (EOG). The electrical potential difference measured between the skins above and below the eyes reflected the eye movement in the vertical direction. That measured between the skins to the left and to the right of the eyes reflected the eye movement in the horizontal direction. We use the microprocessor to filter out noise and do signal processing. They can be replaced by eye-writing to pick up the telephone, put down the telephone, dial, and speak. We evaluated the eye-writing system with a symbol set consisting of 37 Mandarin phonetic symbols, 5 lexical-tone symbols, 10 Arabic numeral symbols, 3 punctuation marks, and 5 control symbols. Through the test of six persons who are examined, the distinguishing rate can be up to 83.33%. There are there modes in the eye-writing telephone control system. ☆1 is speaking mode and it’s success rate is 83.33%. ☆2 is answering mode and it’s success rate is 66.66%. ☆3 is dialing mode and it’s success rate is 66.66%.
