外在動機因子對不同性質作業 創造力的影響

The Effects of Extrinsic Motivators on Creativity of the Different Creative Tasks

摘要

本研究以Amabile 的綜效動機模式為基礎，採取實驗操弄設計，來探討內在動機、不同外在動機對不同性質作業的創造力表現之影響。實驗一和二均操弄兩種不同外在動機：肯定表現的獎賞以及預期評價。而實驗一的創造力任務為藝術型（拼貼作業），實驗二的創造力任務則為語文型（寫故事標題作業）。研究對象為國立中正大學通識教育中心所開設的創造力發展課程的90位大學生。研究結果顯示，性別會影響拼貼作業的創造力表現，以及大學生的內在動機會正向影響寫故事標題作業的創造力表現。針對上述結果，本研究提出相關的討論與建議。

The purpose of this study, based on Amabile’s motivational synergy model, was to explore the impact of intrinsic motivation and different extrinsic motivations on creative performance performing on different nature of tasks . Both study 1 and 2 manipulated two extrinsic motivations: performance-contingent reward and expected evaluation. And that creative tasks of study 1 was artistic (collages), creative tasks of study 2 was verbal (titles for a short story). A total of 90 subjects from Creativity Development Course of Center for General Education National Chung Cheng University were collected. Results indicated that sex had impact on creative performance of artistic tasks. And intrinsic motivation had positive impact on creative performance of verbal tasks. Implications and suggestions for research and practice are discussed.
