摘要


在傳統的教室,教師常會利用投影片呈現教學內容並在教室前面的黑板上寫出重點或演繹解決問題的過程。在教學過程中,使用板書的缺點之一是撰寫重點到黑板和等待學生抄寫至筆記是耗時的。尤其是當老師的背後掩蓋了一部分寫在黑板上的重點,學生在抄寫時,會耗費更多的時間。此外使用板書的上課方式也限制了教材的呈現方式。例如,寫在黑板上除了可以增加幾種不同的筆劃顏色和透過不同的符號去增加變化外,顯示圖片或多媒體內容是很困難的。而老師如果同時使用投影片和黑板進行教學,則可書寫的區域也會相當窄小,造成老師和學生的困擾。 本文提出了一種新的教學活動平台並整合Microsoft PowerPoint投影片呈現教學內容,稱為CutePageWriter2,以期能促進學生在課堂上的學習。 CutePageWriter2可播放各種多媒體教材,如圖片、影片、flash動畫和提供應用程式的鏈接,教師可以使用CutePageWriter2準備教材並在課堂上使用教材進行授課。在使用CutePageWriter2進行錄影教學時,教師可以看到一些自己所撰寫的提示內容,而這些提示內容是學生所看不見的。老師可以參考提示內容並輕鬆的在投影片上將教學重點在學生面前手寫演繹出來。我們期望透過CutePageWriter2可以幫助教師和學生在傳統的教室更有效地進行學習。

In traditional classrooms, teachers show the PowerPoint slides and write learning content on a blackboard at the front of the classroom. In the teaching process, one drawback of using blackboard writing is the fact that presenting the materials is time consuming. This is especially true when the teacher’s back obscures a portion of what is written on the blackboard, which increases the level of restiveness in the class. Also, using a backboard this way limits the way of presenting teaching materials. For example, writing on a blackboard provides an inflexible presentation with few colors and styles, as well as difficulties in displaying pictures or multimedia content. This paper proposes a new teaching activity platform integrating a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, called the CutePageWriter2, to promote learning in a physical classroom. The CutePageWriter2 supports a variety of multimedia materials, such as images, videos, flash animations and external execution file links. Teachers can prepare teaching materials by using the CutePageWriter2 and can show the materials in the classroom. With the CutePageWriter2, teachers can see some of the teaching materials while those same materials are invisible to the students. The CutePageWriter2 is helpful to teachers and students in traditional classrooms.
