射頻四相位壓控振盪器與帶通濾波器之研究

摘要


本篇論文主要研究有兩個部份,第一部份是介紹四相位壓控振盪器,此電路使用的製程為台積電1P6M CMOS,其主要以低功率消耗和低相位雜訊為主要研究方向。四相位壓控振盪器主要功能為將接收到的信號耦合出四相位信號,若四相位壓控振盪的相位雜訊過高會造成頻率的漂移,這樣一來解調的信號會產生錯誤,為此降低相位雜訊成為一個重要的問題。本論文將source degenerate技術加至current-reuse架構裡,藉由它來調整電晶體的轉導,讓PMOS和NMOS轉導能夠一樣,藉此可以有效的降低相位雜訊,且相位誤差依然可控制在3度以內。 第二部份是介紹一個雙模態的雙頻帶通濾波器,由一個全波長的環型諧振腔和短路殘段合成一個雙頻濾波器。它的頻寬與頻帶位置可以經由調整短路殘段阻抗值和電氣長度的比例來控制。此電路使用FR4板實現。其量測數據與模擬相符。

This study presents two topics: Dual-Mode Dual-Band Band-Pass Filter and Quadrature Voltage Controlled Oscillator (QVCO). In the first part, A Quadrature Voltage Controlled Oscillator (QVCO) is presented. Poor phase noise means large variation in frequency. Therefore, decreasing the phase noise is one of important challenge in QVCO design. This study successfully improves the phase noise by using the source degenerate technology in the current-reuse structure, and makes the phase error be less than 3o. This QVCO had been implemented with the TSMC 1P6M CMOS Technology. In the second part, a Dual-Mode Dual-Band Band-Pass Filter is proposed. The circuit is designed with a ring resonator and short stubs. The operating frequency and bandwidth could be adjusted by changing impedance of stubs and electrical wavelength. The Dual-Mode Dual-Band Band-Pass Filter has been implemented with FR4 substrate. The measured results consistently meet with the simulated results.
