數位多媒體智慧學習情境之設計與研究

摘要


現今在傳統教學和網路學習上的多媒體教材內容是相當多元化,麻省理工學院開放課程中提出串流式視頻已被廣泛接受及使用,大部分的大學作為補充學習內容,然而對於數位學習課程提升讀者的學習成效為何是值得探討的。本研究『數位多媒體智慧學習情境之設計與研究』是以開發混合式教學(blended learning)之數位學習教學模式,並運用的教育『策略』為多媒體學習理論、多元智慧學習理論、錨式情境教學及情境學習理論等,研究及『設計』符合情境的系統,分別為研發一個新的方法可以整合數位視訊攝影和截取電腦畫面,將教師教學情境的細節錄製成具有豐富教學情境之教學影片,以及發展多媒體數位學習教材的快速場景索引方法。在各個研究階段,將針對該研究進行相關的實驗設計來檢測研究成果。於情境教學片實驗研究設計中,將檢查我們方法設計產生之教學影片的清晰度,以及驗證學習者的學習成效。其結果顯示,所提出的方法比傳統方法更好的。在教材檢索系統實驗研究設計中,將檢查場景檢測的精度和評估使用者滿意度。結果顯示,我們的方法絕對可以幫助學生在他們的數位學習,也就是說,它給了他們達到更好的精熟學習及自律的數位學習環境。

The content of media-materials has become much diversified on teaching and online learning today, like the MIT open courseware which has been widely accepted by most of the universities as their supplementary learning contents. However, how to increase the readers’ learning effectiveness is very important. This research based on the notion of multi-media intelligent learning scene combines Automatically Detection Technology, Mastery Learning and Situated Learning Theory to design a friendly online learning environment. With these theories, the system is divided into following research-stages to realize our design. That is, find a novel approach to integrate the details of teacher’s gesture and presentation with digital video camera and screen catcher and develop a rapid scene indexing method for multimedia learning materials. In this study, some empirical studies have performed by remedial instruction to evaluative the learning effectiveness. In the experimental design of situated video, this was applied to check the degree of clarity and validate the learning effectiveness. The results showed that the proposed method was much better than the conventional method that with only one single digital video camera. In the experimental design of an interaction e-learning content, this was applied to check the precision of the scene detection and evaluate user satisfaction. The results showed that rapid scene indexing can definitely assist learners in their online learning; that is, it gives them better learning mastery and provides regulation for the online learning environment.
