看守所戒護人員工作壓力及生活適應之研究

摘要

職場工作壓力以及過勞的問題越來越受到國人的關切，矯正機關長期工作壓力所導致的倦怠問題，更可能對戒護人員的生活適應產生嚴重影響。本研究旨在探析看守所戒護人員工作壓力與生活適應之相關影響，並分析不同背景戒護人員在工作壓力與生活適應之差異情形。研究樣本係取自法務部矯正署所屬各看守所戒護人員，以分層隨機抽樣方式選取9所看守所，共發出975份問卷，回收後剔除無效問卷，有效回收887份，有效回收率為90.97％。
經實證分析後獲得以下結論：
一、不同性別、年齡、學歷、婚姻、職務、年資、看守所性質、值勤方式及機關所在位置之戒護人員，在工作壓力因子管控各構面具有顯著差異；不同性別、年齡、學歷、婚姻、職務、年資及機關所在位置之戒護人員，在生活適應各構面具有顯著差異。
二、工作壓力因子管控與生活適應部分構面呈現顯著正相關。
三、工作壓力因子管控對生活適應有顯著預測力，其中以「要求」最具有顯著預測效果。
最後根據以上分析結果，分別對主管機關及後續研究者提出相關建議，以供其工作壓力及相關研究之參考依據。

People concern more and more job stress and burnout. Caused by long term work stress of correctional institutions, the problem is more likely to influence life adjustment of guard officers.The aim of this study were to find out the impact of the job stress and the life adjustment of Detention Center guard officers, and to analyze the difference of the job stress and the life adjustment among different backgrounds of guard officers. The sample consisted of guard officers of each Detention Center in Agency of Corrections, Ministry of Justice. Totally 975 questionnaires were distributed to 9 Agencies of Corrections. After invalid responses were eliminated, the valid questionnaires were 887, and valid response rate was 90.97％.
The major findings of this study revealed as follows:
1. Gender, age, educational background, marriage, job position, seniority, Detention center nature,duty mode, and organs position of employees showed significant differences on control of risk factors for job stress. Gender, age, educational background, marriage, job position, seniority, and organs position showed significant differences on life adjustment.
2. The control of risk factor for job stress had a significant positive correlation with life adjustment.
3. The control of risk factor for job stress could significantly predict life adjustment, among which "demand" had the best significant power to predict.
Finally, according to the result of the research, suggestions were provided respectively to the following researchers and competent authority as references of job stress and the related researches.
