從政府發言及新聞報導等內容可以發現,商管雜誌的教育論述具有相當大的影響力,但卻沒有商管雜誌教育論述的相關研究。因此,本研究目的在探討商管雜誌的教育論述,並選取天下雜誌教育特刊自1996年至2012年共17本出版品作為分析的文本資料。運用Fairclough之批判論述分析(Critical Discourse Analysis, CDA)的三個分析層次:文本分析、論述實踐分析、社會實踐分析等進行分析。本研究發現如下: 一、天下雜誌使用「競爭力」一詞來描述各種教育議題,讓教育的面貌完全被「競爭力」所填滿。 二、天下雜誌藉由不同論述的配置,使其最終的職場取向價值不易被察覺。 三、天下雜誌的教育論述不僅受到社會氛圍的影響,更透過其教育論述強化了追求競爭力、經濟效益等社會主流價值。 根據本研究結果,研究啟示如下: 一、對於教育官員而言,應思考長期的願景目標。 二、對於學校教育人員而言,應重新省思自身的教育專業與定位。 三、對個人而言,應以批判的態度省思商管雜誌的教育論述。
This study aims to explore the educational discourse of business magazine, and chose 17 education special editions of CommonWealth Magazine between 1996-2012 as the examples of this research. The concept and method of Fairclough’s three layers of critical discourse analysis—discourse as text, discourse as discursive practice, and discourse as social practice-is employed. The main findings are summarized as follows: 1. It explores a wide range of educational issues in relation to ‘competitiveness’ which becomes the mainstream discourse. 2. It conceals the vocational values by allocating different discourses in the text. 3. It was influenced by social atmospheres but strengthens the social mainstream values of pursuing competitiveness and economic benefit. Some implications are generated from the study of business magazine’s educational discourse: 1.For official, they need to think where is the long-term vision for education. 2.For educator, they have to reflect their educational profession and position. 3.For individual, they should critically reflect business magazine’s educational discourse.
