葉石濤小說中的兩性關係研究
The Relationships Between Two Sexes in the Novels of Yieh Shih-Tao

摘要 葉石濤小說以時間、事件為縱橫兩軸，性別、府城為題材區，就自身現實生活投射社會理想，兩者互為辯證，形成對話，聯結錯綜網路，深刻映現台灣當代社會盤根錯節問題，越日治時期至二十一世紀初，跨兩世代、近六十年，傳遞當代以「台灣意識」為核心的人文價值，確立台灣文學的精神主體性，建構出一己小說風格與小說史觀。 本研究以葉石濤小說中兩性關係為軸心，擇選其中相關作品32篇，依據其發展段落，劃分為四個不同時期，闡述兩性生活多元樣貌，探討台灣社會蛻變共時性和歷時性多重屬性面向，反思台灣的多元價值觀。大凡如男女角色扮演裡深藏不見的權力關係，男女情慾索求中所隱含的社會、經濟、政治等不同面向，他藉外在層面呈現關係，理性／感性交錯反思，融入「黑色幽默」；以「意在言外」解讀個人／群體多重衝突與身分認同。 本研究指出，葉石濤的晚近作品跨入後現代差異、多變空間，經由歷史、社會、教育、唯物史觀四層面辯證論述小說裡男女二元相斥、相吸、相異，交叉論述社會多樣面向。此時的身體成為社會運作場域，再現「食、色」人性基本需求，呼應馬斯洛「需求層次論」，主張回歸物質和精神層次乃社會安定主要架構，期能傳承「台灣，一個生命共同體」的價值。 關鍵詞：葉石濤、小說、兩性關係、社會寫實、多元價值

Abstract Yieh Shih-Tao had been dedicated in the novel for almost half a century and the plots originated from the social interchanging status in Taiwan within four hundred years,thus, the result is the collection of Yieh’s works built a whole view of a history of his own. This study aims to discuss from the relationship between two sexes based from Yieh’s thirty two works and will deal with the variety aspects on this topic through four phases. It mainly focuses on the changes in Taiwan society from the angles of time sequence and tries to reflect on the value among the people and the society. It will analyse the significance inside the characters and within the society vias social, political and economical aspects. By means of examing lust relationship, simultaneously reflect on the view between sense and sensibility from outer appearance and tries to interpret the impact bewteen individual and group, identification of introspection and identification of social significance. The novels of Yieh Shih-Tao were written based on the topics of two sexes and old city both chronically and event by event. They reflected the problem in the society in Taiwan at that time. The writer started his viewpoint from his real life and buried his ideal inside his works and via the dialectical dialogue and thus the work completed. The creating time starting from Japanese-ruled era till the twenty first century, over sixty years and try to convey social value and built up a so-called “Taiwanese Concsiousness” to ensure the spirit in Taiwanese literature and ponder on the ruling body of Taiwan local society.The subject are including the emigration of Han tribes, the influence of feudalism and recorded in a realistic style to show the changes. By experiencing the White Terror—political oppress, the writer restarted his career after 15 years in jail. The sarcasm is easily seen by his Black Humor and metaphorized his idea in order to see clearly the multi-values in society. Back at that time, the issues of opposition among tribes evolved and the idea of Identification were advocated in the literature composing.Late at Yieh’s creating peiod, the problem of lust occupied and the works were mixed with the difference and changibility in a post-modernism way. The writer seriously discriminate the attraction and repellence and differences between two sexes through History, Social Studies, Education and historical materialism—these four layers to show the variety of coexistence of different phenomenon. He used Human body to exercise and the society as a media, and inverting in the aesthetics style and came out the whole view of expressing human beings’ necessity of eating and lust in his appeal and echoed with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. The study focused on the social stability by returning to innocence and levelling up the spiritual aspects. There are plenty astonishing characteristics that could be seen in Yieh’s works—deeper social emotion, multi-tribal belongingness, using sexes relationships to convey the peace and conflict inside the society, and firm belief among Taiwanese people and literature.
