本研究旨在探討嘉義地方政府行政人員老化知識與老化態度的現況及老化知識與老化態度之相關情形,本研究採取問卷調查法,以研究者自編「地方政府行政人員老化知識與老化態度量表」為研究工具,以嘉義縣市政府行政人員為研究對象,共發出問卷360份,有效問卷273份。資料蒐集後,以成對樣本t檢定、平均數差異考驗、單因子變異數分析及皮爾森積差相關等統計方法,進行資料分析。根據分析結果,本研究主要發現如下: 一、 嘉義地方政府行政人員老化知識呈現中上程度。 二、 嘉義地方政府行政人員老化態度呈現正向。 三、 在年齡不同背景變項之嘉義地方政府行政人員其生理老化知識有所差異。 四、 在性別不同背景變項之嘉義地方政府行政人員其老化態度中情感層面有所差異。 五、 嘉義地方政府行政人員老化知識與老化態度呈現顯著正相關。 本研究根據以上結果進行分析與討論,分別對於嘉義地方政府行政人員及政府單位提出建議,並對未來相關研究提出若干建議與參考。
The objective of this study is to explore the local government employees’ knowledge and attitudes toward aging as well as the correlation between these two variables. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the employed aging scale designed by Dr. Chin-Shan Huang was adopted to evaluate the hypotheses. A total of 360 local government employees in Chaiyi City and Chaiyi County were sampled and resulted in 273 valid surveys with a valid return rate of 75.8%. Analyzed by SPSS 18.0 to perform the regression analysis in this study, the key findings are as follows: (1) The local government employees’ knowledge of aging and elderly in this study are obviously sufficient; (2) The local government employees’ attitude toward aging and elderly are approaching positive; (3) There are significant differences between age variables of local government employees and knowledge toward aging and elderly; (4) There are significant differences between gender variables of local government employees and attitude toward aging and elderly; (5) The local government employees' knowledge and attitude toward aging and elderly are positively correlated. A discussion of the theoretical implications, managerial implications, and recommend future research direction will also be provided.
