本研究以中小尺寸TFT-LCD廠商統寶光電新產品開發作業為研究對象,探討協同設計及知識管理對縮短新產品上市時間的影響;並探討不同部門間的差異。並針對個案公司進行問卷調查。整體而言,針對本研究共發出問卷255份,有效問卷為174份,有效問卷之回收率為68.24%。 研究發現,一、協同設計有助於縮短新產品的上市時間;二、知識管理有助於推行協同設計來加速新產品上市;三、知識管理可以加速新產品的上市。不同部門在執行協同設計和知識管理這兩個管理活動時,品保和工廠部門執行的程度比較弱,造成新技術研發和品保及工廠部有顯著的差異。以效果面來說,不同部門在應用知識管理來協助協同設計及縮短新產品開發上,工廠部門的效果比較差,造成新技術研發和品保及工廠部有顯著差異。
This paper investigates the effects of collaborative design and knowledge management on accelerating new product development. A census was conducted. Questionnaires were distributed to all personnel, with a total of 255, associate with new product development activities in Toppoly Optoelectronics Corp, a small and medium size TFT-LCD manufacturer. Totally, 174 valid questionnaires were collected from new product development activities in Toppoly Optoelectronics Corp, with a valid return rate of 68.24%.The results show that both knowledge management and collaborative design have significant effect on accelerating new product development, and knowledge management can facilitate collaborative design and furthermore shorten new product time-to-market. Different departments executing collaborative design and knowledge management have different performances, it showed that it’s much weaker in some degrees both in quality department(QD) and manufacturing department(MD). From the side of effectiveness, different departments apply knowledge management to assist collaborative design in order to shorten new product development, displaying MD’s lower effectiveness, leading to significant differences among new technology R&D department, OD and MD.
