南州鄉居民對南州糖廠觀光發展態度之研究

摘要


環顧國內目前觀光休閒遊憩發展,大都是以追求觀光休閒遊憩發展所導入的經濟利益為主,大部分的人認為觀光遊憩事業是無煙囪工業,對環境衝擊不大,且可增加居民收入,加速地方發展。但是依國內外觀光發展相關研究結果可以發現,觀光發展在環境、經濟及社會文化方面都可能產生正負面衝擊。 本研究以南州鄉20歲以上居民為對象,主要目的在探討南州鄉居民對南州糖廠發展觀光的態度,同時分析南州鄉居民對觀光發展態度、經濟依賴觀光程度與觀光發展支持度的相關程度,並針對研究結果提出建議,作為南州糖廠發展觀光之參考。本研究採問卷調查法,蒐集有效問卷402份,資料分析方法採用描述性統計分析、t檢定、Pearson相關分析、單因子變異數分析對各研究假設加以驗證,結果顯示: 1.居民感受觀光發展帶來的衝擊,正面衝擊大於負面衝擊;並以「經濟正面衝擊」最高,其次為「社會文化正面衝擊」,最後是「環境正面衝擊」。 2.居民的工作及家庭經濟來源與觀光發展關係並不密切。 3.觀光發展所帶來的環境、經濟、社會文化等三方面衝擊與觀光發展支持度具中度正相關。 4.不同居民特質對觀光發展態度、經濟依賴觀光程度及觀光發展支持度有顯著差異。

Currently most of Taiwan’s tourism and leisure business are pursuing economical returns as the main purpose. While most people consider tourism and leisure industry a ‘Tertiary Industry’ which means no great impact on local environment, and beneficial for increasing residents’ income and accelerating local development, however, comparatively some foreign studies discovered that tourism development might have negative impacts on environment, economics, and social culture. This research sampled Nan-Chou residents around 20 years old as the interviewees. The primary purpose of this study was to probe Nan-Chou residents’ attitude toward development of tourism industry. Meanwhile, this study analyzed Nan-Chou residents’ attitude about tourism business development, and the correlation between dependence of residents’ income on the tourism industry and the residents’ supportability for developing tourism business. Besides, advices for Nan-Chou Sugar Factory development in tourism business had been provided according to the result of the above study. This study adopted questionnaire methods and acquired 402 valid questionnaires. To prove my hypotheses, the data collected was analyzed by the following methods including descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, Pearson relationship analysis, and one-way ANOVA. The result indicated that: 1. Residents have felt the impacts from tourism business, and the positive impacts were greater than the negative impacts. The greatest impact was positive impact on economic sphere’, the second highest was positive impact on social/culture sphere’, and what impact least was positive impact on environment’ 2. The residents’ careers and household income was not highly correlated to development of the tourism business. 3. The impacts on environment, economics, and social/culture have a mid correlation with residents’ supportability for tourism industry development. 4. Residents with different personalities have significant differences in their attitudes toward tourism industry development.
