中台灣運動觀光資源整合之研究

摘要

休閒時間與所得的增加，各種旅遊活動成為人們生活中不可缺少的環節，其中從90年代便盛行於歐美地區的運動觀光，在國際奧林匹克委員會（International Olympics Committee 簡稱 IOC）與世界觀光組織（World Tourism Organization簡稱WTO）的推動下，整合運動及觀光元素，使遊客們在奧運、世足賽、及馬拉松各項大型賽事中，擁有親臨其境的參與感，同時也創造出龐大的經濟利益。目前，台灣也正積極發展運動觀光，墾丁可說是第一個成功且著名的運動觀光勝地，而中部地區氣候溫和且腹地廣大，故本研究採取田野調查法中的拍攝記錄法與直接觀察法，實地走訪苗栗、台中、彰化、南投之觀光景點與運動設施，探討中台灣運動觀光之優勢與潛力，進而整合並善加利用，便能在墾丁之外，讓中台灣成為台灣第二個運動觀光勝地與典範。

Recent years, as the growth of people’s income and leisure time, a variety of traveling activities have become an essential part of life. Sport tourism, which has been popular in Europe and America since 1990s, combines the factors of sport as well as sightseeing to make tourists experience the participation in sport events. In the mean time, it creates enormous economic benefits as well. Therefore, Sport Tourism is considered as the most quick development in Tourism Industry. The first successful and famous sport tourism spot in Taiwan is Kenting. However, the weather in Mid-Taiwan areas is mild and the surrounding areas are extensive. So we use the Field Research in this study, regarding the sightseeing spots and sport facilities in Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua and Nantou as the research object. The purpose is to explore the advantage and potential in Mid-Taiwan areas.
