屏東縣的自來水供水普及率為全國最低44.91% ,應證屏東縣的居民已習慣使用取得方便的地下水,而所使用絕大部分水源皆來自地下水,其中飲用水為民生每日用水所必須,而飲用不乾淨之地下水將會對人體健康造成危害。本研究利用地理資訊系統 (Geographic Information System,GIS),研究探討其屏東縣沿海地下水水質歷年變化趨勢,了解屏東縣沿海地下水質適合飲用區域,及不可飲用區域。 本研究利用地理資訊系統(Geographic Information System, GIS),使用行政院環保署「全國環境水質監測資訊網」所提供的監測資料為依據,利用克利金(Kriging)法繪製內差結果圖及網格計算,主要目的為探討顯著影響項目氫離子濃度指數(pH 值)、氯鹽(Cl-)、總硬度(Hardness)、氨氮 ( Ammonia nitrogen )、砷(As)、水面至井口深度等,以探討屏東縣區域地下水近十年之變化趨勢。 屏東縣沿海十一個地下水監測井,當中I羌園國小、J.海鷗公園、K.新龍公園,其水質項目總硬度、氯鹽、氨氮皆超出地下水第二類標準值,其中K.新龍公園總硬度超標達7倍,氯鹽超標達26倍,氨氮超標達8倍,若地下水無經處理其直接飲用,對人體健康造成傷害。研究結果顯示其僅有D.內埔國小,此地下水監測井之水質符合地下水法規第一類:飲用水水源水質保護區內之地下水,其餘屏東縣沿海地下水監測井皆不適合直接飲用。
