顧客需求與業者專利布局之關聯性研究-以登山車為例

摘要


顧客選購產品的觀點與業者專利布局是否吻合,是值得探討的議題。本研究選定登山車為研究對象,利用品質機能展開萃取顧客需求的品質要素,並透過技術功效矩陣分析業者的專利布局方向,有助於確認兩者之間的關係。   問卷調查結果顯示,消費者對於「剎車靈敏」、「夜間騎乘的安全性」、「騎乘不易落鏈」認為是最重要的,屬於「安全性」構面,而最不重視的構面是「外觀」。以捷安特而言,顧客最在意的的品質要素為「車架系統」、「轉向系統」、「傳動系統」。在技術功效矩陣分析方面,捷安特主要核心技術為「車架系統」、「轉向系統」,與顧客需求吻合程度高。以美利達而言,顧客在意的品質要素依序為「剎車系統」、「傳動系統」、「附件」,以達到「剎車靈敏」、「騎乘不易落鏈」、「夜間騎乘的安全性」要求品質;技術功效矩陣所顯示之專利布局主要係藉由「車架系統」技術,以達到「針對不同使用環境,調整避震性能」、「踩踏輕鬆」、「騎乘不會感到腰痠背痛」、「車身重量減輕」等功效,此與顧客需求大致吻合。   就富士而言,顧客在意的品質要素依序為「剎車系統」、「附件」、「傳動系統」,達到「剎車靈敏」、「夜間騎乘的安全性」、「騎乘不易落鏈」要求品質;其專利布局顯示以「車架系統」技術達到「車架強度」功效為核心,此與顧客需求的吻合程度有落差。本研究依比較結果,建議業者可藉由掌握「車架系統」核心技術,佐以供應商的核心能力,來補強企業在專利布局所欠缺的部分。

The relationship between the customers’ perspective of purchasing and enterprise’ patent portfolio is worth to be investigated. This research takes mountain bicycle as an example. By utilizing the quality function deployment to extract the quality factor of customers and the technology effect matrix to analyze the manufacturer’s patent portfolio, it can help to identify whether they do tally or not. The questionnaire results tell that the customers care about braking sensitive, riding safety at night, and no falling chain the most. The results also show that the most important dimension of mountain bicycles is safety and the least important dimension is their appearance. It is found that GIANT mountain bicycle owners care about the quality factors including framework, steering, and transmission system. From the analysis of the technology effect matrix, GIANT’s core technologies are framework and steering system which highly coincide with customer’s requirements. The results also shows that MERIDA mountain bicycle owners care about braking system, transmission system, and accessories in order to fulfill the quality factor of braking sensitive, no falling chain, and riding safety at night. The technology effect matrix concludes that MERIDA’s patent portfolio mostly focuses on the technology of framework system which fulfills features of adjusting shock absorber performance, riding easily, riding without low back pain, and reducing bicycle weight. These features mostly fit customer’s requirements. Regarding the FUJI’s mountain bicycle owners, they care about braking system, accessories, and transmission system in order to fulfill the quality factor of braking sensitive, riding safety at night, and no falling chain. The patent portfolio has shown that FUJI focuses on the strength of framework system. This results do not tally with customer’s requirements well. Lastly, this study suggests bicycle manufacturers can intensify framework system technology and utilize the supplier’s ability to reinforce their weakness in patent portfolio.
