國中學生逆境經驗與心理健康關係之探究

A Study of the Relationship between Adversity Experience and Mental Health for Junior High School Students

摘要


本研究目的在探討國中學生逆境經驗與心理健康的關係,使用問卷調查法,以立意取樣方式,針對高雄市10所國中7年級學生,共634名學生,進行調查,使用「逆境經驗量表」、「貝克焦慮量表」及「貝克憂鬱量表」測量國中學生的逆境經驗,心理健康狀況,期望能透過此研究,了解國中學生在發展過程中,所經歷的逆境經驗對心理健康的影響,提出對國中學生心理健康未來發展的建議。本研究的主要發現有: 1、不同居住地的國中學生,其逆境經驗上有顯著的差異。 2、不同性別的國中學生在心理健康上有顯著差異,男生顯著比女生的心理健康為佳。 3、不同居住地的國中學生,其心理健康上有顯著的差異。 4、不同家庭管教方式的國中學生,其心理健康上有顯著的差異。 5、調查顯示約有47%的國中學生有焦慮情緒;約有35%的國中學生有憂鬱情緒。 6、國中學生憂鬱情緒有性別上差異,女生的憂鬱情緒顯著比男生較高。 7、不同居住地的國中生其憂鬱情緒有顯著的差異。 8、不同家庭管教方式的國中學生,其焦慮、憂鬱情緒上有顯著的差異。 9、逆境經驗對心理健康有相關性,並且對焦慮、憂鬱情緒也有相關性。 根據研究結果,提出建議,供政府主管機關、學校、家長及未來研究之建議。

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between adversity experience and mental health for junior high school students. 634 students of the 7th grade students, from 10 junior high schools in Kaohsiung city, were invited to complete the questionnaires. "Stress Experience Scale", "Beck Anxiety Scale", and "Beck Depression Inventory" were adopted in this study. The results were described as follows. 1. The adversity experience had significant differences based on students’ residence areas. 2. Students’ mental health scores had significant differences based on gender, boys’ mental health scores were better than girls’. 3. Students’ mental health scores had significant differences based on their residence areas. 4. Students’ mental health scores had significant differences based on their parental childrearing attitudes. 5. There was approximately 47% of the junior high school students had the symptom of anxiety; and approximately 35% of the junior high school students had the symptom of depressive mood. 6. Students’ depression mood had significant differences based on gender; girls were significantly higher than boys. 7. Students’ depression mood had significant differences based on their residence areas. 8. Students’ anxiety and depression mood had significant differences based on their parental childrearing attitudes. 9. There were significant relationships between students’ adversity experiences and their mental health, as well as anxiety and depression mood.
