漂流木應用於文化創意產品開發

摘要

地球氣候的急促變遷使臺灣近年來在風災後產生大量的漂流木淤積問題，漂流木淤積在河口、海口灘地會影響到許多漁民等沿海居民作業，使用焚燒方式處理會產生大量廢氣和破壞河口生態。漂流木在漂流的過程中，漂流木的表面會產生一些自然刻痕的特殊外觀，然而這類型的外觀形態被認為是缺陷。使得漂流木常見之處理方式大多為焚燒或掩埋，造成漂流木此項自然資源的錯置與浪費。
本研究針對漂流木利用面向與其本身自然獨特性進行初步探討，透過田野調查與實際觀察漂流木的利用情形後，發現漂流木還是有其可利用的面向。漂流木屬於自然性材料，透過不同的加工方式來處理漂流木，使其在產品的利用率增加，讓許多漂流木可以有更多的利用面向，亦或是漂流木產品使用之功能性的增加，可以改變漂流木本身價值，使得原本令人頭痛問題獲得一個解決方式。
藉由了解漂流木的特性應用，利用文化創意轉換產品設計屬性的架構去解析漂流木，發現漂流木在文化各層面中都具有其獨特的文化面向，在於文創商品的開發應用上，可以利用漂流木在物質層面中所具有的視覺特質來塑造其產品的外觀造型，使其視覺形態更加豐富。而漂流木在本身的各項特質上進行文化加值，讓漂流木具有更多運用之面向。漂流木藉由強調其本身自然形態與視覺美感的融合，並增加本身的使用價值衍生出其他附加的文化性或創意性的產品。

The rapid changes of climate has become a big problem in Taiwan, large amount of driftwoods have siltation at estuary and beaches after Typhoon arrives. These driftwoods have become problems for fisherman and their solution is to burn all the driftwoods, which produce large amounts of waste gas and destroy the estuarine ecosystem. The driftwood surface has create some special scores on the outlook during drifting. However, this kind of morphology was considered to be defect, which became the reason that this natural resource had misplaced and waste, most driftwoods were burned or buried.
This study is to explore driftwood's value by fieldwork and observe its natural uniqueness. Driftwood is a natural material, by different processes to deal with driftwood, can increase the utilization of the product, and discover other ways to use driftwood, which could reduce the number of driftwoods.
By understanding the characteristics of driftwood, we can use the cultural and creative product design attributes conversion architecture to resolve Driftwood, we also found that driftwood has its unique value in different cultures. We can use the special visualization of driftwood to development and application in multiple culture's dimension. By emphasize driftwood's natural form and visual aesthetics, could increase the value derived from other cultural and creative product.
