In this study, we use Cryptomeria japonica, Taiwania cryptomerioides, Cunninghamia lanceolata and Zelkova serrata thinning logs as materials to develop stationeries, lightings, clocks, stools and electronic peripheral products. The results revealed that through analyses of image modeling, mortise types, practicality and entertaining, cultural and creative products were produced with combination of the characteristics of traditional mortise. The creative pencil sharpener combined mortise style of "Wood strips with direct cross-bonding", the multifunctional mobile phone holder combined mortise style of "Hidden tenons of corners", the tripod floor lamps combined mortise style of "Hidden tenon of a round bar" and "Hidden tenons of two round bars", the wall clock combined mortise style of "Scissors combined tenon", the tall and circle chair combined mortise style of " Corner tenon" and " Double-through tenon" etc. Five kinds of cultural and creative products were developed. These cultural and creative products made from domestic thinned wood also showed the unique styles of traditional mortise.
