不同性別角色對中性服裝意象之關聯研究

摘要


社會變遷,多元性別文化之下,性別角色有別傳統那般僵化,兼具男女特質的雙性化類型的性別角色越來越多,性別的界限越趨模糊,對於多變的服裝款式接受度也越來越高,具有雙性別元素的中性服裝將會成為潮流,然而雙性化類型的性別角色對於中性服裝的意象及喜好是否有顯著差異。 本研究以感性工學的理論為基礎,中性服裝圖片做為研究樣本,利用焦點團體訪談法及卡片分群,進行服裝圖片樣本分類,最後藉由問卷進行中性服裝意象調查,並以集群分析、因素分析及單因子變異數分析建立兩者關係,並找出中性服裝設計的重要意象。 研究結果發現,受測者重視中性服裝的「自我獨到」及「低調時尚」的風格,並偏重中性服裝個性的、設計的、自信的感覺,其中以雙性化類型的性別角色有顯著差異,性別特質中的女性化特質會影響受測者對於中性服裝的喜好程度。兼具雙性元素的中性服裝不僅象徵性別的平等關係,也減少消費市場普遍存在的性別刻板印象,增加消費者購物的便利性。

In a changing society and gender-diverse culture, gender roles don’t follow the same rigid traditions that they used to - a fact illustrated by the rise of androgynous gender roles with both feminine and masculine traits. Likewise, the line between the sexes is becoming ever blurrier, with increasing acceptance for changing clothing styles, including the rising trend of "gender-neutral clothing" with elements of both femininity and masculinity. Still, do preferences for and perceptions regarding the image of gender-neutral clothing differ significantly for androgynous gender roles? Kansei Engineering theory serves as the foundation for this research, and gender-neutral clothing imagery the research sample. In addition, focus group interview methods and card grouping were utilized in this study, and clothing imagery samples were classified. Finally, questionnaires were used to survey subjects about perceptions regarding the image of gender-neutral clothing, followed by analyses including: cluster-analysis, factor analysis, and analysis of variance (ANOVA), which were used to establish a relationship between the two, and identify the primary image of gender-neutral clothing design. According to the findings of this research, subjects valued the 'unique' and 'subtle' style of gender-neutral clothing, and emphasized gender-neutral clothing's sense of personality, design, and confidence – findings in which androgynous gender roles differed significantly. Specifically, for androgynous gender roles with masculine and feminine traits, feminine characteristics affected the subjects’ preferences for gender-neutral clothing. Gender-neutral clothing with both feminine and masculine elements not only acts as a symbol for gender equality, but also combats pervasive gender stereotypes that exist in the consumer market, while at the same time increasing convenience for consumers in their shopping experiences.
