同步聽打員專業職能需求分析

A Study of Professional Competence for Communication Access Real-time Translator

摘要


本研究旨在建立同步聽打員之專業職能架構,以專業知識、專業技能與專業態度為三構面,深入了解職能項目之狀況與內涵。 本研究分三階段,第一階段透過文獻探討,以 NCRA 與 O*NET 同步聽打員之工作分析為藍本進行翻譯,整理出專業職能問卷初稿;第二階段為求符合本土化,邀請兩位專家進行半結構式訪談,將訪談資料與問卷初稿進行統整,最後設計成「同步聽打員專業職能調查問卷」;第三階段邀請 11 位專家、學者,經過兩次的模糊德懷術問卷調查,並以雙三角模糊術進行統計分析,得出研究結果。 根據上述,本研究結果整理如下:  一、本研究歸納同步聽打員之專業職能項目共有 59 項,包括 19 項專業知識、 26 項專業技能與 12 項專業態度。 二、在專業知識的重要程度中,以「K3.3 聽打設備之操作知識」為首,而「K5.2 適當的環境線索」的重要程度較低。 三、在專業技能的重要性中,以「S1.1 接收、消化、組織,並將訊息轉譯成重點文字的能力,並能讓人理解」與「S2.1 能使用聽打設備」為首,而「S3.11 推理演繹的能力」的重要程度較低。 四、在專業態度的重要性中,以「A15 保密性-保護服務對象或活動方隱私」為首,而「A2 注重細節」的重要程度較低。 本研究依據分析結果進行討論,並於文末提供數項建議,以供未來研究之參考。

The present study aims to establish a framework for the professional competence of Communication Access Real-time Translator, with which competence entries and connotations are better understood based on three constructs: professional knowledge, professional skill, and professional attitude. The study is divided into three stages. In stage one, the blueprints of NCRA and O*NET Communication Access Real-time Translator’s job analysis were translated to obtain a professional competence questionnaire draft. In stage two, to make the study tally with local context, two experts were invited for semi-structured interview, and then the interview data and questionnaire draft were integrated to become “Communication Access Real-time Translator Professional Competence Questionnaire.” In the last stage, eleven experts and scholars were invited to participate in fuzzy Delphi questionnaire survey twice, with double triangle fuzzy technique adopted for statistical analysis to yield the research results. Based on the above-mentioned analytical procedure, the findings are in what follow: First, there are fifty-nine professional competence entries in total induced from this study for Communication Access Real-time Translator, including nineteen professional knowledges, twenty-six professional skills, and twelve professional attitudes. Second, with respect to the importance of professional knowledges, K3.3 “Operation knowledge for Real-time translation device” is above everything, while K5.2 “Appropriate environmental clue” is less important. Third, in terms of the importance of professional skills, S1.1 “Being capable of receiving, digesting, organizing, and translating messages into key words and making them understood” is of greatest significance, while S3.11 “Being capable of deductive reasoning” is less imperative. Finally, regarding the importance of professional attitudes, A15 “Confidentiality: Protecting the privacy of clients or organizers” receives paramount importance, whereas A2 “Paying attention to details” is not so essential. A discussion was conducted on the basis of the results derived from the analysis. In the end of the present study, some suggestions are also provided for further research in the future.
