應用專利分析探討我國電動機車相關技術發展

An application of patent analysis to investigate the development of electrical motorcycle technology in Taiwan

摘要


本研究利用專利分析研究台灣電動機車產業相關技術,分析產、學研及個人技術發展並探討電動機車廠商技術與產品特性的關係。本研究檢索我國智慧財產局專利資料庫2018年12月31日前之專利,獲得符合本研究範圍之專利為841筆。 研究結果顯示台灣電動機車廠商著重提升便利性、安全性、效率及續航力等九項。學研界電動機車專利較著重提升效率、便利性、安性、經濟效益等四項。個人的專利技術研究則以提升續航力、便利性及安性等五項為主。 廠商上市產品的特性訴求均以便利性及安全性為主,但各廠商達成這些功效的技術仍有所差異,如提升安性方面、本田透過冷卻系統、充電設備六種技術來達成。山葉則以動力系統、充電設備六種技術來達成。光陽仰賴動力系統、電控系統等六種技術來達成。三陽使用動力系統、冷卻系統等四種技術達成。提升便利性方面,本田透過充電設備、電控系統等四種技術來達成。山葉透過動力系統、充電設備等五種技術來達成。光陽仰賴車殼、電池等八種技術來達成。睿能以車架、車殼等四種技術來達成。 最後,本研建議廠商除了持續現有的技術發展成果外,可以參考其他廠商之技術與功效發展重點,作為未來廠商發展之參考依據。

This study uses patent analysis to investigate technology development of Taiwan electric motorcycle industry and the relationship between technology and product characteristics. 841 patents applied before Dec. 31, 2018 are drawn from the database of the Intellectual Property Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The results show that Taiwan's electric vehicle manufacturers focus on the technologies to improve convenience, safety, efficiency and battery life. The technologies from academia and research organizations focus on improving efficiency, convenience, safety, and economical benefits. For the individuals who have the related electric motorcycle technology patents, the technologies focus on increasing the efficiency and safety of the motorcycles. Although the convenience and safety of the motorcycles are the most common characteristics for all manufacturers, individual manufacturers have different technologies to achieve the required characteristics. For example, HONDA applies cooling systems, charging equipment and battery technologies, YAMAHA develops technologies in power systems, charging equipment, and electronic control systems, with power systems, charging equipment, and batteries, KYMCO and other manufactures implement various technologies to achieve the convenience and safety requirements of their products. Finally the author suggests the manufacturers that, In addition to continuing their own technology development, it is advised manufacturers shall keep an eye on the technology development of their competitors. In the meantime, it is also suggested that the manufacturers seek collaboration with academia, research organizations and individuals to shorten the time for technology development.
