以溶膠-凝膠法製備BaAl2O4螢光粉之光致發光特性研究

Preparation and Photoluminescence Properties of BaAl2O4 Phosphors by Sol-Gel Method

摘要


高化學穩定性和良好的發光強度使得利用稀土或過渡元素摻雜的鋁酸鋇材料被積極的研究,並且透過摻雜不同的活化劑將這些特性更好的發揮出來。 本實驗製備樣品粉末之方法為溶膠-凝膠法,以三嵌段兩性共聚物F-127做為螯合劑,製備鋁酸鋇(BaAl2O4)、摻雜Ca之BaAl2O4、摻雜Eu之BaAl2O4以及共摻雜Ca和Eu之BaAl2O4之螢光粉體。最後經由X-Ray繞射分析(XRD)、掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM)、穿透式電子顯微鏡(TEM)等材料分析及紫外-可見光光譜(UV-Vis)和螢光光譜分析(PL)等光學特性分析來探討其結構及性質。 由XRD分析結果得知利用溶膠-凝膠法於750 ℃以上即可合成出BaAl2O4粉末,其屬於六方晶結構。但摻雜Ca或Eu或兩者共摻雜之BaAl2O4均有少許雜相出現。TEM亦證實未摻雜和摻雜之BaAl2O4為六方晶結構。PL分析可得知摻雜Eu之BaAl2O4在激發波長395nm,有579、593、618、655和704nm即Eu離子所造成之放射峰。CIE色度座標圖顯示摻雜Ca之BaAl2O4發藍光,但摻雜Eu之BaAl2O4發粉紅和淡橘光,而共摻雜Ca和Eu之BaAl2O4亦發藍光。

With high chemical stability and luminescence intensity, rare earth or transition metal elements doped barium aluminate phosphor materials have been actively studied. And by doping with different activators, their photoluminescence properties can be improved. The method of preparing the samples in this experiment is the sol-gel method, using the triblock amphiphilic copolymer F-127 as chelating agent to prepare barium aluminate (BaAl2O4), Ca-doped BaAl2O4, and Eu-doped BaAl2O4, and Ca, Eu-codoped BaAl2O4. X-Ray diffraction analysis (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and optical characteristic analysis such as ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis) and photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL) to explore its structure and properties. According to the XRD results, all the samples obtained are characterized with hexagonal structure and calcined at above 750℃. But with a little impurity in doped and co-doped BaAl2O4. TEM analysis also confirmed that the structure of undoped and doped BaAl2O4 is hexagonal. Eu-doped BaAl2O4 of PL analysis shows that excitation at 395nm, the emission peaks at 579, 593, 618, 655 and 704nm were attributed to the transitions of Eu ion. From the CIE results, it is know that Ca-doped BaAl2O4 emits blue color light, Eu-doped BaAl2O4 emits pink and orange light colors, and Ca, Eu-doped BaAl2O4 also emits light in the blue region.
