國中生服務與照顧老人意願之調查研究─以屏東縣為例

Research on the Willingness of junior high School Students serving and taking care of the Elderly—A Case Study of Pingtung County

摘要


台灣預計將於2025年成為超高齡社會,面對快速人口老化議題,青少年人口隨著年齡增長,未來將成為中壯年人口,不僅需要承擔照顧父母之角色,將來亦有照顧老人之社會責任,同時是社會各專業之主要生產者,所以必須超前佈署了解青少年對於「服務」、「照顧」老人意願之想法。依據文獻探討歸納國中生照顧想法重要面向,含對於老人態度、認同照顧價值、服務老人意願、照顧老人意願等四大面向為主體,並納入個人背景進行討論,同時找出影響屏東縣國中生服務與照顧老人之有效預測因子,以作為未來擬定相關教育政策、設計相關代間課程之參考。 本研究採用問卷調查法,針對屏東縣10所公立國中學生實施問卷調查,共獲取701份有效樣本。透過逐步多元迴歸分析發現,性別、是否參與過服務老人經驗、學習價值、工作價值、人際關係與經濟安全,對服務、照顧老人意願產生影響。最後,根據研究結果,提出四點建議:第一,透過國中教育融入老化相關知識、實際了解老化現象與過程、建立長期照顧課程教學資源網,以提升對於老人之正向態度;第二,藉由週會或月會宣揚照顧美德、推動生命教育、建構完整長期照顧體系,以增進對於照顧價值之認同;第三,推動祖父母節活動、規劃高齡志工、漸進式與老人互動模式,以提升服務老人意願之意願;第四,透過職業試探、將照顧老人社會責任融入學校課程、提升照顧服務員社會地位及升遷管道,以提升照顧老人之意願。

Taiwan is expected to reach a Super-aged society in 2025. Facing with the issue of rapid population aging, the youth population grow with age will need to take on the role of taking care parents and also need to have a social responsibility of caring the elderly in the future. They are also the main producer of various professions in the society so they need to make preparation in advance to understand youth people's thoughts on service and look after the elderly. Based on literature review to generalize the important aspects of junior high school students' thoughts of caring, including their attitude towards the elderly, recognition of care value, willingness to serve the elderly and willingness to take care the elderly as main subject, also bring in personal background into discussion, meanwhile find out the effective predictors that affect Pingtung County's junior high school students in serving and caring the elderly, which will be used as a reference about educational policy and design related intergenerational courses in the future. This study is proceeded by means of questionnaire investigation. Of random students were adopted from ten junior high schools, seven hundred and one sample questionnaires are collected. Through multiple regression analysis founds that gender, whether participated in serving elderly, learning value, work value, interpersonal relationship and economic security have an impact on serving and caring the elderly. Finally, based on the research there are four suggestions: First, integrate aging-related knowledge through junior high school education, actual understanding the phenomenon and process of aging, establish a teaching resource network for long-term care courses to enhance positive attitude towards the elderly. Second, through weekly or monthly meetings to promote the virtue of care, promote life education and develop a complete long-term care system to enhance recognition of the value of care. Third, promote Grandparents Day activities, plan senior volunteer, and gradually interact with the elderly to provide the willingness of serving them. Fourth, through career exploration, integrating social responsibility of caring senior into course, enhance social status and career path for nursing assistant to increase the willingness of caring the elderly.
