辦公室內空氣中甲醛及懸浮微粒特性-以屏科大為例

Characteristics of Formaldehyde and Particulate Matter in Office Indoor Air: a Case Study on the Campus of the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology

摘要


為瞭解校園辦公場所內空氣品質狀況,本研究於民國109年8月間在國立屏東科技大學行政大樓以空氣品質監測器監測某辦公室及其機房內HCHO及PM2.5及PM10濃度特性,研究結果顯示:密閉機房內在白天與夜間各監測時段,其HCHO在9-12小時監測之平均濃度(範圍為0.038~0.049 ppm)均可符合HCHO之IAQ標準(0.08 ppm);然機房內有使用電鍋與烤箱加熱、蒸烤食物時,其HCHO監測之小時平均濃度(0.108±0.053 ppm)會超出IAQ標準。機房內PM2.5及PM10之24小時平均濃度均分別可符合IAQ標準(分別為35及75 μg/m3),唯機房內有人走動及工作時其PM2.5濃度會明顯增加。在有適當通風之半開放式辦公室(未密閉)內使用化妝用品與影印機時,其HCHO之小時平均濃度(達0.172±0.114 ppm)會超出IAQ標準;當辦公室內大型影印機或列印機有操作,補充碳粉及人員密集整理檔案走動時,易增加碳粉逸散,唯其PM2.5及PM10之24小時平均濃度仍均可符合IAQ標準。

In order to identify the indoor air quality in the offices on the campus of the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, this study was conducted to monitor the concentrations and characteristics of HCHO, PM2.5, and PM10 in an office and its computer facility room with air quality monitors in the administration building in August, 2020. Results show the HCHO average concentrations of every 9- to 12-hour monitoring tests carried out in either day or night time ranged from 0.038–0.049 ppm, which met the HCHO’s IAQ standard (0.08 ppm) in the enclosed computer facility room. However, some of the hourly HCHO average concentrations (0.108±0.053 ppm) exceeded the IAQ standard when food was steamed, baked, or heated in electric pot or oven. All 24-hour average concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 met the IAQ standards (35 and 75 μg/m3, respectively), except for the significant increase od PM2.5 level when the staff moved around and worked inside the same room. On the other hand, the hourly average concentration of HCHO (up to 0.172±0.114 ppm) exceeded the IAQ standard if the makeup products and photocopiers were used in a properly ventilated semi-open office (unclosed). The fugitive carbon dust is expected to increase under the operation of a large copy machine or printer, the replenishment of new toner cartridge, and the walking of workers in the office; nevertheless, the 24-hour average concentration of PM2.5 and PM10 still met the IAQ standard.
