In the research on the origin and development of the Austronesian family of language, Taiwan is the origin of the Austronesian language family. In recent years, it has been considered that "bark cloth production technology" is a representative common material culture of the Austronesian language family and is very important cultural characteristic; Therefore, restoring Taiwanese production and is practice of bark cloth has its necessity. Because of its fast growth, rich fibers, Broussonetia papyrifera trees are currently mostly used in the manufacture of high-quality paper, which has high economic value; This study, after collecting documents and comparing cultural relics, carried out Chinese document construction methods, process records, and current production techniques at home and abroad, proved that if the ancient methods are followed; Taiwan, the birthplace of the Austronesian language family, can indeed reproduce the products described in ancient documents. "The bark cloth it produces is very fine and white". The experiment compares three kinds of antique production processes, comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of finished products, on the basis of maintaining the tradition, a new economical and environmentally friendly bark cloth production process is proposed, which can not only get the same white bark cloth; at the same time, it is comparable to traditional or current industrial bark fiber extraction methods in terms of process and manufacturing process Compared with this method, the method is simpler, and the input cost of equipment, raw materials and labor is significantly reduced, which can save costs and reduce energy consumption. If bark cloth can be produced in large quantities, it will actually be economically beneficial; it can be used to produce traditional or innovative clothing and cultural and creative products, which will be of great help to the promotion of bark cloth.
