摘要

本研究探討自2020年1月至2021年5月Covid-19疫情期間疫情發展及管制措施對觀光類股的影響，藉由事件研究法的操作，來判斷疫情及管制措施對臺灣上市、櫃觀光類股的影響程度，是否帶來異常報酬。
本次研究操作共計分析4個事件，以2020年1月21日宣告第一起境外移入確診個案當作臺灣疫情發展的開端，後續接著2020年3月19日邊境管制、2020年4月30日防疫新生活運動、到2021年5月19日疫情最嚴重時的全國三級警戒，共計四個事件對於觀光類股的影響。實證結果發現於境外個案移入、邊境管制，由於管制措施的限制以及對於疫情發展的不確定，對觀光類股帶來負向的異常報酬，而全國三級警戒可能由於政策宣告前，本土疫情已有失控的狀況故於宣告日前即反應出負向的異常報酬。而防疫新生活運動宣告當下，由於疫情處於相對管控得宜階段，故帶來正向的異常報酬，整體觀光類股對於疫情期間各項管制措施皆呈現顯著影響的狀態。此外透過估計期的修正對比趨勢圖顯示全國三級警戒實施前我國日常生活已有恢復到疫情發生前之趨勢。

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the trend of Covid-19 and infection control policies on tourism stock price during the pandemic. By conducting the event study analysis, the extent of impact on Taiwan listed stocks as well as OTC stocks brought by the pandemic and infection control policies can be determined and further find if abnormal return attributes to the events.
This study was conducted to analyze four events, selecting the first imported confirmed case on January 21, 2020 as the start of pandemic in Taiwan, and followed by the enforcement of border control, the implementation of “Epidemic New Life Movement” and the worst stage of Nationwide Level 3 alert to find out the effects on tourism stock price. The results demonstrate that a negative abnormal return is observed when the first imported case was confirmed and border control was enforced because of the restrictions and the uncertainty of the trend of Covid-19. As for the stage of Nationwide Level 3 alert, as the local cases has been raised rapidly before the announcement of moving to the stage, a negative abnormal return reflects prior to the date of declaration. However, a positive abnormal return appears in the period of the implementation of “Epidemic New Life Movement” because the curves of Covid-19 cases is flattened relatively. This study could conclude that the policies enforced during the pandemic have obvious impact on overall tourism stock price.
