本研究旨在導入人格疾患與特質理論,分析遊戲角色的負面性格傾向,並探討玩家涉入度的影響。準此,本研究選取《戰鎚Online》遊戲中12名不同性格與特色之反派角色為測試樣本,施行問卷調查。首以因素分析萃取出「激情狂暴」、「陰沉詐疑」與「孤傲難馴」三項反派特質因素,並探討玩家對遊戲中同種族或職業導向群內之角色,在各項特質認知上的異同;研究亦證實玩家涉入度的不同會對反派角色特質產生認知差異。本研究可提供遊戲企劃人員檢視各集群導向群間角色特質獨特性或一致性的方法,以及檢測各階段角色特質強度的平衡與視覺化酬賞的程度,期能讓遊戲企劃者在調整角色特質設定之餘,能提供造型設計人員修正視覺表現精準指引之依據。
By adopting the “Personality Disorder Theory” and “Personality Trait Theory”, the research intended to analyze negative personality tendencies of roles and to discuss the players' involvement influence. To conduct the research, 12 roles, which have different personalities and styles, were selected from “Warhammer Online Game” as test samples in questionnaire survey. Based on factor analysis, three personality trait factors were extracted as “Intense & Tumultuous”, “Sly & Suspicious” and “Proud & Aloof”, with which players' cognition similarity on the race-oriented and the occupation-oriented role personality traits were discussed. The results also confirm that varying degree of players' involvement would have cognitive differences to the personality traits of the roles. For planner, the outcomes could be applied as guidelines to inspect the distinctness and consistency of role personality traits in various-oriented groups. Also, the outcomes could be used to exam the balance of role personality traits’ intensity and the degree of reward through visualization in various stages. The conclusion might help game planner direct designers to revise the visual performance of the roles when they adjust the role personality traits.
